My daughter is the one that got me into bitcoin.   She started buying them at $0.40 each and quickly saw her purchase make several hundred dollars.  She lost interest after her first big loss due to a scammer.

She insisted that I buy her a mining computer.  I was very skeptical about bitcoin but really fascinated by the technology.  So I made a large minning farm that has been heating my house for the last two years.

Before she stopped trading bitcoins she borrowed $10,000 from me to buy 520 bitcoins at about $20 each.  For years we thought we would never get that investment back.  We just sold them for about $50,000 and used the proceeds to pay off her student loans.
