I just claimed BTX from the most recent snapshot at .5btx per bitcoin.  Is there any way to still claim from the previous snapshot taken earlier this year at 1btx:1btc or is it too late for that?
I believe this is over (the previous webpage at bitcore.cc mentioned last chance to claim the BTX from that snapshot was a date that has already passed)

Hey guys,

Ive been on vacation since october 04th and now checking back into the crypto sphere. I just read there is a new airdrop model, also noticed my last airdrop was on 23.10.17

What I figured out is the new registration model, unfortunately its not clear what I have to insert into the text field 1.) and 2.)

What I understand is:

1.) my airdrop btx core wallet address

2.) core wallet console > signmessage [address from 1.)] AIRDROP

Hope you guys can help me out and confirm or deny/correct this

EDIT///

coincontrol is enabled

That is correct. Field two should be the signature you get when using the sign message option from the wallet.

Just be sure your address actually contains BTX. You can check it on our explorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/
To see exactly which addresses are in use by your wallet, enable coin control: https://bitcore.cc/Bitcore_CoinControl.pdf

Kind regards,
David

Hey David,

thx for your quick response. I checked my airdrop address using https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/ and its showing the correct amount.

Looking at coincontrol I only have one active address, actually this is the address I used for the only deposit I made back in the days and where I received the airdrops since then and until oct 23th Wink

So this is not a problem when I use the same address for registration now?

Sincerly

These fuckers stole your ticker! They forked BTG HAHA!

Just saw that. We need to block them from doing that. They need to use another symbol.

they are just a scamcoin, they are not on cmc, so don't waste the time.. probably they will never change their name ( and probably they lasts couple weeks like all scamcoins)

What I find concerning is that this infringes upon our coin, which may steer some to the wrong BTX and redirect FUD to us incorrectly.

Yes, this should work perfectly fine then.
We only have two recommendations: Have your address registered and have it funded (since 3% of 0 still equals 0).  Smiley
Also note, we will increase the Monday airdrops by +1% every month. So December will be 4%, January 5% and so n.

some moderator or developer can explain me, because today did not come out btx in hitbtc, because everyone talks about the airdrop and problaemas with the purse and such ... but nobody has spoken in five pages of the forum because today did not leave the coin in the new exchange.
I wait for an answer.

Hey, thank you very much

when typing

> signmessage [address from 1.)] AIRDROP <

into core wallet console I get the message "Error: Please enter the wallet passphrase with walletpassphrase first (code -13)"

Do I must enter my secret passphrase to generate the signed message and if so, how is the syntax for that?

And why is the registration now necessary to collect further airdrops when it wasnt necessary in the past? Can I also use the standard core UX sign message form like byteball is doing it http://dailybyteball.blogspot.de/2017/03/how-to-sign-message-with-bitcoin.html without the AIRDROP addition?

Thanks for your patience and help on that one

You should ask to Hitbtc. The delays its not BTX devs fault. (and it has already been answered many times in those 5 pages you mention).

IT seems the S2X sudden fiasco distracted HitBTC from its schedule.

I should have known sooner, but at least I have thus found prior to HitBTC! I'll go back and see what this claiming has to offer.

Just use the "sign message" option from the File menu. It will ask for your password when signing.
If you want to use the consol, you need to unlock your wallet first by entering walletpassphare yourstrongpassword 600

Has HitBTC been confirmed yet or is that still up to ongoing negotiation with the exchange? I am not sure if it has been announced before.

I guess I am too late for the airdrop?

Monday is airdrop day, make sure you have your btx in your wallet and have registered your address.

Thanks,  Yes every monday but I thought there were special air drops also?

Does BTX have a slack?  How can I get an invite?

Any help guys?  Been refreshing for 7 hours and no response Sad

Yes they even re-tweeted the confirmation announcement, it is just taking longer than expected.

Hitbtc listing should be able to do, to believe that the team, now BTX attention has been particularly much, and now the volume can not meet only in BIT-Z one exchange

volumes of 1000+ BTC on single exchange is too much, I think we would need more exchanges after hitbtc to distribute liquidity.

stupid autocorrect . i was trying to type "delaing "
btw: you are a FUD

I am not annoying about delay.
first it was 16th, then they sad 17th, it's already evening and it is still not listed.
and I have coins , i support this project and when I have a question i expect answer ,, because when I buy acoin i become investor. so don't tell me what to do

do you understand that delay is Hitbtc fault and not devs, dont you?
i didn't say it's devs fault. i asked for information . i will assume you are either blind or stupid
