Transaction speed is really nice. But also keep in mind that the network is not that over flooded compared to BTC.
In general I think people need to build their portfolio leave the BTX in the wallet and chill!
Many posts here are panic posts after BTX lost 10%..
Transaction speed is mostly determined through block and transaction size and block time. The # of transactions being processed at all does have only an impact if it exceeds the # of transactions possible. If you would put the same amount of transactions that BTC has at the moment into BTX, BTX wouldn't flinge. For the snapshot on 2nd Nov the BTX blockchain processed and stored blocks of 3MB (three times the size of BTC), while being able to store blocks of 20MB. https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@xwerk/making-blockchain-history-bitcore-btx-is-currently-writing-blocks-with-over-3000-kb-of-data

Yes, I agree. I know the technical differences but I also wanted to point out that there is limitation to the BTX transaction speed even though that limitation is way beyond what BTC is currently able to achieve.

Comparing BTX with BTC does not make sense. BTC is the mother of all cryptocoins, and has its own value.
When BTX reaches $ 10,000 it will be fine for me.

               ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That’s not how it works.

BTC is literally a very inferior payment system.

You are supposed to compare features, security, capacity, etc and NOT price.

Yeah true it is not how it is supposed to work but can you blame them? That is how most people think about if a coin is doing well or not the price point. It really shouldn't be the point of emphasis because that isn't where the value is gained but yet that is what most people are after. If you look at the fundamentals, team, product, you will find out if your coin will do well or not long term. Any coin can get pumped up and then dumped but the good coins with real value won't focus on that and will have good tech that takes them further.

20MB is Mickey Mouse, without sidechains they won’t make it.

Edit:  Also, my guess is they’ll go with Segwit + Lightening Network as well.  But they’ll still need sidechains.

All alts are around +100% since last week, aonly btx is in red, good.. -.- Btx is losing alts season..
in mid-November, when all the alts were red, bitcore did ×3-4, so there's nothing to complain about.

I'm sure Bitcore will eventually rise, but it's pretty depressing that the entire market is Green and Bitcore is still dropping. Fortunately, some most of my other coins are doing very well, especially QTUM. QTUM is on its way to Mars. It was $13 last week and today it just went over $70. It would be nice to see all of my coins go up at the same time, but knowing that some are crushing it makes me feel a bit better.
I don't like to compare this great BTX all the others. Kinda true though, it's not doing very well instead many other coin gains good value. But I personally believe that in the long run, BTX will take little time to reach the goal. So if you believe in a coin to stay in the game, then HODL tight.

You have to realise it is still "after monday airdrop" period. We have seen a nice growth last week, both volume and price. Wait for two days and we are back at $20 / 100k+ sats. And than it goes up before the next airdrop.

And imagine the announcement about special christmas airdrop - fingers crossed here  Cool

My expectations were a little too high. 2months ago, I was saying that BTX would surpass $100 before the end of 2017 and that it would reach $1000 by summer 2018. So, my predictions were way off. I got ahead of myself. I have to revise my predictions to something more conservative such as $100 by the end of summer 2018, if we're lucky.

What is your price predictions for Bitcore (BTX) in 2018::::?

I think around $100
....

I'll stick with my price target from last month!

$20 for January 2018
$100 for June 2018
$400 in January 2019

ETA for BTX to hitbtc?

About 20Hours  Smiley I am watching the war in the troll box BTG vs BCH war. Wait till BTX in the mix hahaha
i don't need to watch . won't sell under $70  Cheesy

Hell no 70 is way too low. Maybe 700 Grin

We have a lot obstacles until $70   ... first the correction will be  around 10 - 13$. And if every thing is normal then will goin up again.

If BTG can hold $150+ value, the is no reason why BTX could not maintain $100-$400 value over the long run.
I'm bullish on BTX and with the airdrop, I don't plan to sell anytime soon.

My price target was $20 for January, which already reached. My next target is $100 by June 2018 and $400 by January 2019.

My goal is to accumulate as many BTX as possible in my crypto portfolio.

BTX  is technically superior than BTG,, but BTG is traded in almost all top exchanges atm... More over free marketing through different channels also played role determining BTG price..

BTX is emerging rapidly,,As Awareness, recognition, merchant acceptance ,ways to exchange will increase so the price will...

It should be around $100-$200 within 2019..
One Example of BTX Recognition : Back in few months ago when I Googled Bitcore and it's future prospects, few results were shown relating to BTX.. But  the scenario has significantly changed now..You will find lots of information regarding Bitcore.. including  listing in different currency index websites.. These are great signs👦

ISO 4217

The international standard for currency codes (ISO 4217) for Bitcore is XCO.
Currently BTX is used for all exchanges, a slow transition to the international standard XCO will be implemented slowly during the years 2018 – 2020.

Sorry, I should have quoted it before, my bad. Thanks Vlad.
Interesting that XCO coin already exists...

Maybe, most of them are not approved however.
Not even XBT for Bitcoin is approved currently.

We are considering different alternatives already. This is however only one of many minor points on our schedule.

XCO is not listed on the ISO list of active currencies.  He must be referring to crypto which is irellevant.

Edit:  May I recommend XTB?  It’s not being used anywhere.   Grin
