There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

hello

I used Windows-0-14-1-16.zip for BTX wallet and installed
in program directory is missing uninstall, is it ok?
just thought it is not common to win programs

Most of the QT-Coins are just single executables. Place them where you like. Does not make sense to make an installer for those and people are usually lazy. However they will create a huge amount of files and registry entries on first run.

For a clean uninstall is best to use some program like Revo Uninstaller, select the executable and run a scan. That should delete most of it.

HOWEVER MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR wallet.dat !!!

Tomorrow is dividend day, only explanation. But it goes down again already, may just be some small effect of a bigger order. Does not matter, I think most people are in for the long run.

Almost all coins turned green again and these things just happen without explanation. Maybe some kind of start buy/stop loss. Not sure how to do this though.

This is a good coin. I can see it going to a few hundred within a year or two easy. Only time will tell.

Not an airdrop, it's a dividend on coins you hold. So more you have, so more you get. An airdrop is not selective in this way.

There is an airdrop of sorts for people to claim BTX if had BTC in an address when the snapshot was taken in October. I used the devs special Electrum version to claim my coins using my Trezor hardware wallet. Thanks devs! And then I bought a bunch more. This is a good coin.

Yes, that may be called an airdrop for the BTC holders. Got my first BTX that way too and bought more. Now more. Now let them fly Smiley.

I want to see them fly, not go to the moon. Mooncoins are for clueless lemmings Smiley

How much hash power do you have? How many workers and how many miners? How many blocks are you finding per hour, day and what is the block reward? How profitable is it mining this coin as opposed to mining other coins?

A pool hosted by Dolan? Too good to be true  Grin

@My post above: I know its a 5% dividend on what you hold on a registered address but even on the registration page it’s called airdrop thus I just reused the same naming.

Couple of pages back means couple of days ago, so this was priced in already. Does not explain the sudden jump today.
