In the meantime, you should be happy that this coin is still under the radar cuz that means more free airdropped BTX for you  Grin
That doen't mean that at all.

It actually does.
Love it or hate it, for better or worse, take it or leave it, it is what it is.
Cmc not fixing the numbers, means among other things a longer lasting airdrop, that will leave you’re hair feeling soft, luxurious and shiny for days.

Glass half full anyone?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Is this the only problem for me? For more than 12 hours I can not withdraw my coins from Cryptopia. Cryptopia also wants to hang up a label for "scammers"?

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/News

same issue here. I have a big withdraw with status "Processing" for more than 12hrs. (confirmed email.. 6/01/2018 10:51:00 PM ).

Ticket hasnt been answered yet.

Strange thing is that i made a small withdraw today, and it went thru in 2 minutes.

Cryptopia is not scamming you, the volume is just too high for their servers, in fact every exchange I know is shitting the bed right now because an insane amount of new people are registering and trading, this is good, new people means, new fiat but you need to allow them some time to upgrade servers. If you compare cryptopia with kraken or even bittrex, it's lightning fast with a very small team. I know it sucks not getting the airdrop but next time, buy early in the week and HODL in your own wallet.

This.

And it’s not just about slapping a few new servers together. Upgrading in these situations means putting everyone’s funds at risk, if not done properly. And that takes time.

Better a little delay now, than for them to do a fast, piss poor job, and have the exchange crash, or hacked a few weeks from now. And all your funds lost or stolen that way.

How do I get the Linux wallet to work on Ubuntu?

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases

I tried both 4.1Linux-0-14-1-6.tar.gz and 4.2.Prerelease.Linux_0.15.0.1.tar.gz , extracted the files but but when I try to run bitcore-qt or bitcore-cli, nothing happens..

Anyone?

Try starting bitcore-qt in a text console and post the output here. You can also run ldd bitcore-qt (enter the full path to the binary if required) and see what libraries you are probably missing.

Thanks. Tried to run bitcore-qt in a text console and got this:

Error while loading shared libraries: libboost_program_options.so.1.58.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So you are actually missing a library. It is part of the Boost package, and I guess you should install a development version of it to get the missing library.

Thanks. OK, so I installed Boost. Now I'm getting:

./bitcore-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libdb_cxx-4.8.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I did install libdb4.8++ but it didn't help.

Trying to install libdb4.8-dev gives me this:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package libdb4.8-dev is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'libdb4.8-dev' has no installation candidate

It might be that libdb4.8++ is considered obsolete on your system, so, basically, you can't install it via the package manager. But you can always link a newer version of BerkelyDB to the one required, though it is not guaranteed that the wallet will work without errors.

First you should find where your BerkelyDB libraries are:

Code:
find /usr/lib -iname "libdb_cxx*"

Then you make a symbolic link (note the path to the library, it can be different in your case):

Code:
ln -s /usr/lib/libdb_cxx-5.3.so /usr/lib/libdb_cxx-4.8.so

After that, you can try to run your wallet.

"permission denied"

I dont have time for this. other wallets are running just fine on the same machine. i appreciate your help though

Any info about the hashrate with a 570 / 580 pls ?

you get about 10.5mhs for 470 and 580 you might get more with tweaking your own rig
this coin is more friendly to nvidia with 1060 @ 12-13mhs 1070 @ 17mhs and 1080 gets 21mhs
they can also go faster with custom miners.

It's a shame that there is no guarantee that the coins will come in the next few days. People have unconfirmed transactions for 4-5 days.

They have info in the news section about the exchange issues. They have had explosive growth since the beginning of December, from 500k users to 1.3 million or so today. They closed down certain markets and prevented new registrations to help with the exchange performance while they do the necessary work to fix it.

It is probably related to that. They listed Electroneum in November and it brought a ridiculous number of new signups and volume. Everything was fine before that. Blame them lol.

I managed to withdraw mine yesterday, took much longer than normal though. I am sure they will sort it out soon. Hope you all get your coins asap.

I completely agree. The influx of new people/money into Crypto right now is crazy high. Almost ever exchange with any kind of volume is facing issues now and is either in the process of upgrading or will be soon.
