I really don't care about the color of the machine or it's name, the purpose is that people can now actually have option to buy BTX for money or BTC and that's all that matters.

If you look at this from big perspective that's something that all other coins would call major success. Now it all depends on implementation and how much this machines could get distributed to the world. Kiss

Its great you can use fiat to buy BTX. But I would prefer buying it with visa or paypal, over the internet... who still uses paper money and has time to look for specific ATM? Its not like it will be in every small city...

We need either the ability to pay in the grocery store (android pay using BTX), or the ability to easily convert USD or other official currency to BTX. That is what I am looking for during 2018 Smiley

some sort of crypto debit card would be the best. Unfortunately, most of them are having problems keeping their stuff running properly for longer than a few months.

Can anyone tell me, how mucht TPS the Bitcore Network supports now ?
For instance, Ziliqa's test Network did 2500 TPS, and there are also coins out there with more than 1000 TPS as a capability, for instance NAV or NEO.
NEO for instance  claims to have cracked the scaling puzzles and reports that by 2020 it will process 100,000 transactions per second without sharding.

where does BITCORE fit in ? Can it scale to such high numbers of TPS, tens of thousands?
Can it Play with the bigdogs ?
I kinda have the Feeling that now its the fastest (TPS wise) bitcoin fork there is, but that wont do it any ood if it is still couple of order of magnitue lower than what the bigboys can do.

Also, the airdrops Happening mondays, why cant i see the hash and Transactions for each of those 60k addreses when i explore the blockchain ?

Another Point would be, if Crypto is going to get world wide Adoption, or a single coin for that matter, isnt a limited number like 21 Million way to low for a Population of more than 10 Billion ?
That is why i believe a capless coin will do in the end better, if it will get mass Adoption.

I believe a capless some sort of POS coin will be far better off for a huge number of People. Earth Population grows without showings signs of stopping ,which by the way is an extremly bad Thing, which will probably in the end kills us all, and as such, the Maximum number of coins in circulation will also Need to be increased.

For instance when the lowest Division of Bitcore, is worth hundreds of Dollars, probably a new forks should be done as well, transitioning to a capless System,

People get 1% of their coins in the new currency, and the rest of 99% will get distributed airdrop style to all future holders,

I believe this is the future. Which by the way is very far away for now, For now, a capped System of 21 mil coins will probably do just as good.

I have my ideas about the hard cap on supply and I definitely think it is decidedly a negative thing. Sure it is deflationary but most people forget that deflation can be just as dangerous as inflation. It provides incentive to hold rather than to use and spend. That is the very reason why bankers and regulators say it is not a currency and I hate to admit it but they are right. I have an idea that the block reward should be dynamically tied to demand which maybe would be determined by economic activity in previous blocks. That would mean that inflation/deflation would equal the rise or fall in demand for the currency. What do you think? Of course to some degree this could be manipulated but there are many ways to deter bad actors.

This is a very good thing to have BTX at the generalbytes ATM's implemented.
So now it's a community task to ask the ATM operators to get this last update and unlock BTX!

Sadly they are none of these ATM's in germany.

Would it be hard to operate one in Germany when it comes to laws etc.? Otherwise I'm sure some or a few of you could come together to try and pop up some of them (cheaper if a bunch of you come together).

EDIT; I've run in to the same issue where I live, only difference is that people here are far less active in crypto and I hardly ever meet anyone here on the forum that lives in the same Country as I do..

It's just me or this is just a bitcoin atm with a byx image on it? Im really curious to see what they will say, waiting for news Cheesy

And i tought I was the only one..

It is obviously a bitcoin atm (as they are up, running and fully functional) with BTX integration.. There's even a video showing them try it out by putting in money and getting BTX sent to their wallet.. I mean, what did people expect? A fully pink custom built ATM? I really don't see any point in doing that.

I agree with you, but please also agree that sticking a Ferrari  sticker on your car does not make it a Ferrari Tongue
Officially confirmed that Bitcore coins are supported by crypto currency ATM, like the Bitcoin.

This is great news then! BTX would be 1year old next month and there has been a lot of marketing and exposures. If the top 10 coins were able to survive from the past years, what more can BTX accomplished in the coming years not to mention that it has superior features compared to Bitcoin, BTG and Bitcoin cash Cheesy

I'm going to look for a few people to join and install one of those ATMs in my city, hopefully the laws allows for it. Bitcore would be going all out in 2018.

For all those that wish to setup ATM's in the U.S... Well it is pretty damn difficult. You first have to get a AML/KYC compliance program in place. The best ones to do this in the U.S is Joe Ciccolo from BitAML. The next thing you have to do is find a broker that will find banks that are actually willing to do business with you. This list of banks is very very small and they usually only deal with high dollar clients. The best person I found for this was Andy from Bankline. You will pay a pretty penny of a minimum of 1k per month in fees but he will make sure you have redundant bank accounts should an institution change their mind and quit banking with you. This happens quite often so its a good feature. The last major part is obtaining a federal license for being a money service business and your corresponding state license. These licenses will be in addition to all other generic business licenses and tax accounts you have to obtain for operating any sort of business. I can tell you that most of this is highly costly, time consuming, and very annoying. However, if anyone is still willing to proceed then below are the links to the necessary people you will have to contact.

Would it possible to set up sort of a company if you were to find 100 people interested in doing this, meaning one license could be purhcased but used by all 100 people as they operate under the same company?

I think that would be a great way to lower the costs (which I've heard can be up and above $100k). If you know, please share Smiley.
