Mobile mining? I think it's a bad idea. Except the ETN mobile miner which is do not use CPU or GPU at all. As a part of promotional campaign it looks good. Free distribution a small amount of coins. But i do not know nobody who want to mine on his mobile phone.

I'm wondering if a new miner for smartphones is using device resources, or is it more like a tap? If this is a free distribution, then from what source? The developers do not have funds other than their own.

none

Its an actual miner, using the devices resources.

I had it working at one time, but I changed some shit around and now it is giving me some error there is no info for anywhere.
I suspect it has to do with a driver+cuda+compiler match but I don't want to spend forever trying to fix it

Every time there's an update one must struggle several days or weeks before he can get the bitcore wallet to update and run successfully, and this is very sad. Roll Eyes

I updated Bitcore wallet twice now. from version 14 to 15.02 and now from 15.02 to 15.03. Everytime it was super simple and worked like a charm. It was on windows though, but that is what 90% people will use.

I updated bitcore wallet twice too. And it was versions 14, 15.2 and 15.3. And everytime i had an issue with syncing. The Wallet was closing when syncing was almost done. I had to delete all data and resync all blockchain to solve this issue.

Dev told me that after version 14 the blockchain compression method was changed, and resyncing was necessary. What's happened with my wallet (or the blockchain) when dev released version 15.3 i do not know, but even the 15.2 version was giving me the error when i tried to run it.

I also asked about this but haven't got clear answer. Seems like we need to upgraide coz many people talking about different issues with old versions.

blockchain is so small that 1-2 hours are enough to sync 100%
it's BTX - bitcore chain, not BTC...

Older version should work just fine, but the newest version 15.03 has 10x lower transaction fees, which is certainly nice.
