they fooled us with btxm and Fiat Gateway and big exchange but all was a lie And it was never supposed to be done. this coin was scam in the first place?

The project is currently managed by ivo. You are welcome to contact him.

You mean Bitcore is managed by ivo? You mean the whole project is (implying you and other are out now)? Or just some aspect? Please give us a less ambiguous answer. Did anyone quit?

All the devs are still here, the unimportant people left (except steve).
The people who left had no dev skills, they had no marketing skills, no big connections to important exchanges or people, they joined later and quickly left, and basically couldn't get anything done.

So, developers who stayed have dev skills, marketing skills, have big connections to important people and exchanges?
These marketing skills are most important, since this is only coin that lost more than 99% of it's value in last year. Baldrick from "Black Adder" would do better job.  Roll Eyes

I didn't say that anywhere, is that your conclusion  Huh Roll Eyes
BTX has never been marketed properly, so I would definitely not say the devs have marketing skills etc...
My conclusion is that the people who WERE there for those tasks failed big time and couldn't make anything work.

New people have joined the team to take these tasks upon them, I imagine they could only do a better job than the old bunch.

the statement "this is only coin that lost more than 99% of it's value in the last year" is not true.

to see this, go here :

https://athcoinindex.com/price/page/all

then wait patiently for the page to populate.  Then, on the left, change the "ATH date" filter to range from "0 minutes to 5 years" to "0 minutes to 1 year".  Then sort the "% from ATH" column descending.  You will note 2 things :

1. Bitcore is not in the list.  this looks like a bug, because the web page knows about bitcore because you can type it into the "search currencies" box, which then only displays the % from ATH drop over 5 years (not 1 year). but more revealing is :

2. somewhere between 20 % and 16 %  (1/5th and 1/6th) of all of the listed coins have a percent drop over the last year of 99 % or greater. (I got the 'between 20% and 16%' by eyeballing how far down I had to move the vertical scrollbar to hit a coin that was at 99 %).  when I page-up, the page scrolls by 20 coins.  how many times to I have to page up to reach the top? 27 times. So that's a minimum of 26 X 20 = 520 coins that all fit the 99 % drop criteria.  (I multiplied by 26 instead of 27 because that last page-up might have been less than 20 coins).

within those 520 coins i see that 11 coins that even had "at-the-high" prices that were higher than BTX's $48.42 dollars (which was on 11/16/17, slightly more than one year ago) :

coin namehighcurrent
iTicoin$284.33$2.54
Alphabit$520.01$3.53
Super Bitcoin$362.28$2.25
ZClassic$248.73$1.34
United Bitcoin$428.17$1.98
GoByte$114.65$0.44
Lightning Bitcoin$1037.53$2.56
Altcoin$322.44$0.58
Bitconnect$509.99$0.67
Bitcoin Atom$484.62$0.25
TerraNova$2951.54$0.02

these are in reverse order of percentage - so TerraNova had the highest percentage drop >= 99 %

you can use filters on the site to see the above list.  i've added a screenshot of how to do it on imgur :

almost all of this coins you mentioned were scam like bitconnect or abandoned projects or hype coin that used fake news and manipulating the price for a big pump til devs and big holders could sell their coins in high price and then left the coin like lbtc and zclassic i think.
so you telling us we should compare btx to scam and dead coins? Cheesy
and i said I can't remember any coin That has been able to recover 99.5% loss. pls name us a coin that has been able to recover that

The worse aspect of this fact that ASICs now mine BTX is that from now on BTX is at a very high risk to suffer from a 51% attack. And in middle or long term this will more likely happen. Is the team urgently addressing this crucial issue?

see this post above : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.msg48378144#msg48378144 .  from it I know they are "aware" of the situation; as to whether they are urgently addressing it I can't say, but they have not disappeared.
It is unfortunate, but if I see BTX is a coin with quite a lot of demand, but instead has the highest level of risk. how the team faced this issue? whether they have been preparing to deal with this situation?

the question is when all those coins drop when deposits re-open , price will tank hard methinks .

what's say you all ? I NEVER thought we could tank like this .

Vlad was right . I eat my hat .

This was the only Bitcoin fork I actually hodled.  Still have it.

Litecoin fell for about 98% in 2015. Maybe btx can recover $ price in future, but there won't be any new ATH in btc pair for sure.

Sorry guys, I loved that coin and was holding it a long time.
Today I decided to exchange my BTX for BTC. I was not able to transfer my BTX to any Wallet from HitBTC. ZelCore doesnt worked, Electrum or the qt wallet.
I will still support this coin but at the moment the Devs are so silent.

Some hundreds of them I have still in my wallet, hope there are coming better days.

I hope for better exchanges. Cryptopia and HitBTC are really shit. WE NEED A GOOD EXCHANGE!!

And when I read now that there are ASICs going to mine BTX, wtf? A point more for me to leave this coin, I liked the algorythm because of the hope that it is resistent against ASICs.

Devs, are you reading here the posts from us users/investors? I don't think so...  Undecided

For the rest, keep care of your money, I wish you a better time in crypto.

Thank you very much for your contribution.

We also think it's a pity that Exchanges have problems. Unfortunately we can only recommend to use coinexchange.io or crex24.

We have also taken note of the diff increase and are already investigating solutions over their advantages.

We will also stand in a bear market loyal to our open projects.

It seems that devs are gone. Exchanges wallets are not working for weeks.
So it doesn't matter whether Asics will mine or not. No exchange to sell.

This is false! You can deposit and sell your btx on hitbtc so its not as bad as some people would want it to be!

Genius, withdrawals have been blocked for 2 weeks now.

Please also use the opportunity to open tickets. You're not alone with this problem.

Best regards Christian and the whole team!
Do you plan to resist asics or are you going to remove the mention of the fact that Timetravel10 has asic immunity. The community is interested in this question.

The word was "there is no exchange to sell" and I referred to that. If you want to sell why do you need to withdraw it? Deposit it there and just sell! They are still trading with bch, bchabc and bcv and you cant withdraw bch and bsv!
