Sticking onto 2x AMD RX 480 will probably yield a little less than $1 a day if I have seen the stats right and on the other hand mining through Antminer Z15 will yield at least $20 profit which is quite low to say based on the investment you have made on the mining machine. As you have said in the OP, ZCash halving would mean more bad for your investment as I don't think ZCash rises in price similar to bitcoin after halving. This will certainly make you to depend on coins like ARRR or KMD.

If you have the budget to buy 2 Z15, you can make a little over $35 a day in profits and to recoup the budget will take another 2.3 years.

The 2.3 year calculation comes from the following :

Total hashes mined using 2 Z15 = 840kSols/s
Profitability = $35 @ $0.1/kwh
Investment = $3000

What if bitcoin tanks in those 2.3 years? Coins like ARRR would disappear for sure and with Zcash halving will be leaving you with more nightmares. Hence, I wouldn't invest $3000-$4000 just to make $35/day profit after 2.3-3 years which isn't guaranteed indeed!

Since you have the 2x AMD GPUs with you, just go with that rather than investing on mining machines at the moment.
