Well,

I'm starting to make really big worries about bitfinex. I want to say from the very first moment that I am a person who is having a obsesion on security, 2fa and stuff.  On fridays I'm trading at least 10-15 btc on bitfinex and now I am worried. There is anyone on this forum who had same problems?

For real? Absolutely no one can be on subject on this forum? Every one is here just for posts?

~

i don't understand your problem to be honest!
did you have 2FA enabled, or are you just obsessed with it Smiley
and did you protect the keys to your 2FA properly or did you for example write it on an unencrypted txt file hanging on your desktop named bitfinex 2FA?
and these pictures just show Email notifications of different IP addresses accessing a bitfinex account!
is this your account? and did you lose money?

and also i am very curious to know how and why are you trading 10-15BTC every week on bitfinex while it is under a lot of pressure from their bank and have problems with withdrawals?

Did you log in at those hours?
If you did, there may be that your IP is not geo-located correctly and there's nothing to worry. You can even check your IP (surf to https://www.whatismyip.com/) and compare.
If you didn't, you should discuss with their support, really.

PS. I don't use Bitfinex, but these rules apply in many places, including the exchanges I actually use.

So as i understand from your message, you didn't log in in those hours but someone else did and you had 2FA on while these incidents were happening. Am i right?

One question though:

Why teh hell are you still trading on Finex after all those shit they got in?

They suspended deposits/withdrawals, some people had problems with btc withdrawals too. Isn't that a clear sign of a massive problem? Isn't that enough for you to stay away?

Whatever you get from this point, you deserve it.

I would be certainly worried about this situation:

1. Are you sure that those are not your log ins? You don't use VPN or any sort etc?
2. If you still want to use Bitfinex: Enable 2FA, change your password ASAP.
3. You might be one of the users which data leaked in recent CloudFlare backdoor, have you changed your password since that time?

I'm absolutely sure these are not my logins.

I have my keys well protected and 2fa still enabled.

Here is another issue happened in the Turkish forum. Also hacked while his 2FA is on but the exchange is Bittrex this time. Somebody managed to exploit the 2FA system it seems. That means we are all in danger now with the exchanges.

You can google translate the page, he says he is robbed while his 2FA was functioning. This not gon b gud.

This sounds scary.
I still think that this may be some other mistake, but I'll start moving my "unsafe" funds to local wallets. Just to be sure.
It may be his e-mail that was hacked. Maybe yahoo mail with old password?

If you have security concerns in general you're certifiably mental to be on Bitfinex in the first place. If they're not competent enough to prevent the exodus of tens of thousands of coins, don't expect them to be any more careful with your coins.

I know about their problems but I never had this kind of problems, also it just happened on localbitcoins too. I just withdraw all my coins from all websites, this is scary already.

Then the security problem is at your end. You must have been compromised somehow or they socially engineered your phone and email access. Wipe your machines, reset your accounts and start again. I hope you didn't withdraw your coins to the same machine you use for internet access.

One really has to be an idiot to trust a less credible site like bitfinex which has proven their security/inside jobs in the past.Everything else is secondary including your problems. If they can pretend to have been hacked before, this is pretty much expected.Be happy you didn't lose any bitcoins yet.Even if you do,don't be surprised because they warned ya in the most simplest way possible.

Its not too late to transfer your funds there yet, if you think that you're so sure that your devices are protected (the one you are using to access bitfinex) then the issue is from the site so you have to transfer those funds. But if not then try to reset(smartphones)/install anti-virus(PC). And as what joel_jatsen said its really possiblrle that if they are hacked or pretended that they're hacked on the past then they can do it again for such reasons.

I remember that bitfinex was hacked last year and some of the hacker joined this forum and make a 1000 btc giveaway or raffle rather. Looks like Bitfinex didn't learn from their mistakes.

That "hacker" who was pretending to be the bitfinex hacker wasn't giving out anything.  He sent the coins to himself to look big and clever.

I have already stopped using this bitfinex, they are not a good trading platform. How anyone can trust them again after they got hacked for more than once. They seem not serious about security of user's fund.

You can google translate the page, he says he is robbed while his 2FA was functioning. This not gon b gud.

well that dude is telling some very questionable stuff!
for example as someone who is using bittrex (you can also double check this) i assure you that if you reset your password through Email (what that dude is claiming has happened) your account will be locked for a minimum of 24 hours: https://bittrex.com/Account/PasswordReset in other words him saying his bittrex account is not locked but polo is, is a total bullshit.
and to add to that, he lost his Email address and his account password was reset through it. the hacker still can not access the account without 2FA

TLDR: it is not a 2FA hack, his Email was hacked, then accounts passwords were reset through Email and both of his accounts were locked down.

One really has to be an idiot to trust a less credible site like bitfinex which has proven their security/inside jobs in the past.Everything else is secondary including your problems. If they can pretend to have been hacked before, this is pretty much expected.Be happy you didn't lose any bitcoins yet.Even if you do,don't be surprised because they warned ya in the most simplest way possible.

After the hack and the refund from bnktothefutur i though they would be more cautious with their user's accounts. Apparently not.
I was just amused by Coinables who told in one of his videos that he was aware of the problem, and told them to fix it. Guess the answer.

If you want to know how to select an exchange, just open your console and check the network traffic in that exchange, when you enter a password and submit it (login) if you see a line starting with GET, just leave it.
This is why Bitfinex has been hacked (Poloniex uses GET requests), the guy simply exploited one of the basic security breaches.
Every website developer will tell you to NEVER user GET requests to handle users passwords or credencials, and to filter them, and to use special tags.

My friend withdrew all of his funds from Bitfinex because of what's happening with them this past days. He is new to crypto and knows that if some exchange is having that kind of problem, it would be best to get away from it. We always have a choice to select our exchange and when we are noticing that somethings not right with it, most often than not, the right decision is to get out of it and move on to another exchange.

Damn, this is serious issue. Did you have your funds there at the moment of this access which you find dubious? If yes, how come they re still untouched?

Bitfinex has always come through, so we mostly trust them to come through again. Their problems seem to be rapidly increasing recently though. The hack wasn't very long ago.

The spread is down to $88 today vs stamp. I want to keep an eye on this number as a clue to the health of whats going on. Looks like the arbers are arbing to some degree at least.

I do not understand why the entire planet continues to deal with institutions that are governed by a State which makes very difficult.Especially if it is to make simple transfers. Never trust all these platforms. Yet the so-called report on the hack of 120000 bitcoin of last year. Almost a year after we still have anything. The best thing to do is to keep your bitcoin on a wallet hardware

It has nothing to do with the operating system and I see no connections to that.

You are experiencing an unauthorized login issues. In first encountered of that case, it's an obvious thing to release all your funds now at that exchange if it' still available. Your lucky if it's still there. Continous issues might lead for your funds to be depleted. After transferring those, make a new account now. If still you want to use the email associated with that account then send some support. But for me, don't use Bitfinex now. They are the only exchanges in the past months who experiences lots of breached security issues.

There was something in the news about their tawianese bank blocked their bank accounts and is causing havok.
Could this be the reason maybe for you having issues with the site and doing anything you were able to on the account before a few days ago?

I really wouldn't use bitfinex. Their Bitcoin price is usually like $50 above most other edchabges which isn't good, and they've been through alot recently. They were hacked, they released some really crappy tokens, and their bank accounts were closed. I'd love to a different exchange asap.

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

Bitcoin price in bitfinex is more high price than the other price like in
BTC-e like other said they are already experience of hack their own website before that i think its not a good way to trust them back because they can do it again..  much better to go in legit site where you can be safe.. like in Poloniex..

Make crypto as your bank.

Just migrating to another site which can give you better security such as kraken.
And try to identifying your browser, do you put any change for your browsers such as vpn or something. That means someone is able to log-in into your account because all of your screenshot said the successfully log on to your account.

So, what's happen with your amount? Huh

I don't see anything related to the op's problem.
