Montenegro is coastal country, slightly bigger than Manhattan, mister   it is also economically addicted to hands out from EU/NATO, which is primary reason for its departure from union with Serbia. I am not exactly sure, how its formal annexation by the West is supposed to weaken Russian Federation or Putin for that matter.

You are not right. Russia has always had good relations with the former Yugoslavia. After the collapse of the Russian began to lose adherents in the Balkans. Now that there will be a NATO Russian General there will be nothing to do.

Well it is a long term guarantee of sovereignty, because as the people in NATO know, an attack on one is an attack on all of the member nations of the group. So, if someone attempts to attack you while you're in NATO the other members are going to respond in your defense. It's a pretty good system, for the people that don't have the huge militaries like the US. And the people from the US get to protect their trade interests abroad.

I don't see you're point here bud and am going to ask you to explain if ya could, NATO isn't like the EU and is pretty much like a governing body over all of the nations inside of the EU.

Now a days Putin is much stronger than ever, he is very capable and careful. If you see recent activities of Putin then you have to acknowledge that he is preparing his country by both diplomatically and defensively​. in recent days he keeps himself silent towards many incidents.
