The project even started  , wait the first beta approximately in Sept-Oct 2017. The long term value of the TKN ecosystem is the most important thing to us. Short term price movement is not our concern. We are focused on delivering a stellar product.

Right.Price should not of much concerned for a believer in tokencard because price depends on many factors and it doesn't reflect success of a project.Price fall is usually last few days.

A. Cards will not be available in the US or India at first.

A Normal KYC/AML information like any credit/debit card

The price is primarily going down because of this.

They won't have access to the largest consumer market in the world, (USA), or one the fastest growing in the form of India.

On top of it if all their card options require normal KYC, their market is a lot smaller too. Not due to money laundering/other but because in low GDP countries, which are also home to some of the fastest growing consumer markets, KYC is often the biggest hurdle to accessing the traditional financial system.

Many existing competitors appear to offer no ID Bitcoin debit cards, delivered globally albeit with limits of circa $1000 and presumably very high fees.

Can TKN confirm they will be able to compete in that market under similar/better terms?

Top 500 investors will get a free card in september. They should be available for purchase by the public in november I think it was. They said they are selling them almost at cost, so I cant imagine the costing very much.

This project was bought into by whales and again the criteria seems subjective for me. I know ICONOMI team chose investors that investored more than 3BTC for free card which I think is fair criteria

But that just makes it easier for the regular ICO investors to get a free card.
I dont know how the initial token distribution looked, but assuming the distribution havent changed a lot, you only needed to buy +2500 TKN durring the ICO to get a free card, which is a lot less than 3 BTC.

Is this announcement still happening or is it just another hoax from Tokencard team? I don't think they can afford another screw-up, the price is already down and will fall further. So far incompetence has been staggering.

I don’t quite remember who, but someone from another large project told me from experience that once we launch this would be the nr. 1 question in the slack. They were right; and I think we’d do good to at some point silence this question Wink

I don't think above response qualifies as an answer. This whole thing seems like a massive scam and instead of worrying about card deliveries or coin being listed on Poloniex people should consider class action against Tokencard due to false claims and misrepresentation. Any one of us can have a successful ICO if we falsely use logos and names of big brands. The only way to get the money back is to take them to court.

Now if you bothered to read anything there is no false claims.
It is still a VISA card and will still be VISA branded. It even says so in the Q&A you just quoted. That they use a 3rd party to handle that part of the transfer was also listed in their FAQ and whitepaper.

I think some investors managed to buy TKN at a discounted rate, so their costs are lower.
