Hi
I sent BTC to a previously used Electrum-generated address of my own wallet. Blockchain.info reports both uses of the address and the most recent transaction has 8 confirmations. My Electrum client doesn't show the second transaction. How do I get Electrum to recognise it?

Thanks!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

The wallet used to send the funds is blockchain.info? If you can see the transaction in different blockexplorers then It means that there is no bugs in BC (post the TXID just in case). I also don't understand what do you mean by "the second transaction" If you only made one. Either way, check If you are connected to a server (the green button on the bottom right) If its already green, try to connect to another server instead.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Yes the server connect button was green. I have picked a different server and now waiting to synchronise.

Funds were sent from a hosted wallet to Electrum. I just used Blockchain.info to find the transaction on the blockchain. By second transaction I just mean the second time I used the same Electrum wallet generated address to send funds to. Long wait for synch!

If it doesn't show after synching with the next server, I'll respond to this thread.

THanks for your help.

...Addendum ... Just confirming that when my wallet re-synched after pointing to a different server, the funds appeared in Electrum. Cheers!
