Nah, some links are totally fine. For example links from a well known survey sites like SurveyMonkey or Survio, there is no risk in clicking that link.

Yes I do see some people are conducting using google spread sheet itself. I guess that would be more convenient way of collecting opinions. For polls, bitcointalk itself has facility and I am thinking to raise a request to Theymos for providing any possibilities for having survey kind of templates here in bitcointalk itself.
Because that will help people to study on bitcoin ecosystem which will be helping bitcoin to be promoted to new people effectively.
