Before investing in altcoins you need to make a research first so you can make sure your coin that your coin want you buy have potential to increase. Low price of altcoins yku can make a lot of profit if the price increase.

I strongly agree with you mate, First he should search about other cryptocurrencies and build some knowledge to predict very well the success crypto to invest in it.
Because there is a lot of cryptocurrencies will die after a few months or maybe weeks. Not all coins will increase in the future. So be carefull of you choice.

You should invest in BTC right now when it's still 'cheap'. The value is pumping fast, and in near future it can reach a enormous high. You would be very sorry if that happen.
Also you can invest in alternative cryptocurrencies too. They also have big potential. But, be careful in choosing

I'm seeing that it's good to invest with ETH as there are a lot of good projects that are being inline to the smart contracts. And with the change of it's PoW will stop it's miners to mine ETH and it's like hoarding time for traders.

In my opinion, I do think that since is a good time to invest, and I am pretty sure that a lot of new investors have come into the market due to the drop in price of bitcoin recently. I think that bitcoin if for the long term though since it doesn't seem that i will rise drastically anytime soon, but i guess we can’t predict the future. It has been a great year so far and I hope that bitcoin continues to rise.
 
Also a side note, Bitcoin has now surpassed the price of gold which has been a real high for bitcoin. This has caused even more investors to start investing in bitcoin. Last year I had a conversation with my parents, asking about their retirement fund and if they wanted to invest into bitcoin. I was shocked that they were already considering it and after a week, we decided to buy 10 bitcoin just as a start, now they own more than double their amount. So it looks like an amazing long term investment to me.

I don't think this year is good for bitcoin trading because it is better to just buy or get a lot of bitcoins and hold it for long term and that is better  for aside rather than trading because trading is not a good idea for this year because i believe in the incoming years, bitcoin will become a very big currency and if you are just trading it then you will lose the opportunity.

Tgis year a lot of people have always said that Bitcoin is on the decline, but I think that in all business especially in this kind of ventuire, everything can go down and up without us knowing. What is sure is that our fears are being validated and that also contributes to its prices being lower.

But I still believe in Bitcoin and its possibilities and a lot of people still. Even if its risky its worth a shot.

Actually the price of bitcoin also affect the price of that altcoin though. So it's like no different, the only different is the price of bitcoin is more higher than other altcoin. Both investing on altcoin and bitcoin are good actually, trading is trading. For me, bitcoin is still the best investment in this year.

You shouldn't be thinking like that, as even relatively small numbers of coins right now, may end up being quite a bit in a few years time ~ it has always been like that.

I used to buy like $100-$200 worth of Bitcoin on a monthly basis, which back at sub $500 levels didn't look like much, but look at the market right now to see where we stand.

I am confident that this will continue in the coming years, so even if you hodl small numbers, eventually you'll look back happily at how you have gained a decent bit of money.
