Please guys help us newbies to start trading by not wasting time on bad method to determine profitable coins.

What is your best strategy to see if the coin will be profitable or not?

I am not telling that there are steps which guarantees if the coin will be profitable, but just asking what steps you using?

I saw that good method is to read news,forums about particular coin, but which websites to check, what should I look in the articals, news?

My simple strategy in trading altcoins is buy on support and sell on resistance with use candle chart in analysis technical
time prime 5M-15M, it is short term strategy trading altcoins,
the weakness of this method is we must stay on the computers and always do stop lost, this method is not suitable for the traders
who doesn't have much time.

Great strategy that is one of the things i also do in shorting altcoins because i think that is the safe strategy to use when i'm in a short trading mode. It gives me only small profit because the i do have a small capital because i'm still mastering it with a right timing so when i get the right timing then i will put bigger capital.

Simply choosing high volume altcoins will minimize most of your problems. All you need to check how many bitcoins were traded for one particular altcoin in last 24 hours. If it is greater than 25 bitcoins, the possibility of getting pumped and dumped is very low. Only with well established altcoins, it will be possible to have decent trading volume.

When you are finding those altcoins are not profitable for trading, it would be highly recommended to stay away from trading for that day. Because securing our capital will be more important than finding opportunities to make profits.

I think in trading it is more profitable when the volume is high. [/bBecause the coin is active therefore it goes up and down. So If you notice it you just buy low and sell high in a short period of time. And you get profit or double your money in the future.

Not only that, a coin must also be traded on multiple high level exchanges. I was going to invest in ETC, my first altcoin but I decided not to at the last minute. A big mistake. A few months later now it rose x5.

ETC was a good example of a buy low, sell high investment.

In the last lines , you already told the most basic stretagy to understand that which altcoin will rise in the market and which of them is profitable .
Here I have the same Stretagy but have also another one which is really working for me .
Usually I searched about 3-4 altcoins which are at the rate of 1 to 10 Satoshi have that altcoin has no bulk selling orders ,.and  bought these altcoins with 0.001btc in each and put them at double to the sell price .
I did the SE thing about 5-6 times and got real success to double my money each time .

Here if you will ask everyone then you will got different different answer from anyone .
So here I will suggest you to just use your own mind to determine about the advantage to have the particular altcoin.  So just make your experience and spent your time in the market of the altcoins and investigate that how did the market of the altcoins fluctuate .
If you will get idea that how much and how can change the market of the particular coin , then unlimited numbers of the ideas will arise in your mind and will make you a better altcoins trader & succesful predictors about the altcoin .
Here a small thing that I tried to see before the invest that the particular altcoin have any support of the big earners or by millionaire Because that things gives the basic power to ride the altcoins .

Can you give us what those coins are and tell us when and at what price you bought and then what price you sold? There are many people in the forum that claim that they are trading profitably without any proof. It is time to change that.

There is also the long wait periods in your strategy. How long did you wait before the coins you bought doubled in price?

Good idea! If you want to know what coin will be profitable is to exloplore some discussion and read more comments in altcoin section or maybe ask in some tips on veterans on trading. Furthermore, I think to determine the profitable coins is knowing if that coin has a high volume.

I mean to say do not wait for buying at dip and also do not wait for tops to book profits. Choose the coins which will not have chances to be dipped then all other good things will happen over time.

Honestly profitable trading will be possible with any coin hence finding right coin is not that big significant one but when we are buying and when we are selling is really matters and for this we need accurate predictions. When accurate predictions are not possible, choosing coins carefully will work as a best strategy.

Check the news about the specific coin you want to invest. Make sure the devs are well-known and active with their community. Also look at the roadmap and its feature. ICO can be profitable but very dangerous to jump in and buy. That's why you have to do make a research first.

you should know how to trade first , and try to invest a little bit, for you to be able know how to trade. Choose a coin that are many investors so that you are not going to lose many money.

First of all,you should read articles related to altcoins and gather knowledge about older coins and newly released coins.You should try to know previous price history of coins and what is their main concept,who have shown investing in it,what is its market cap,should read its ANN thread and try to find the most under valued coin.Better start with a smaller investment and once you gain experience,then invest more.

It seems to me that this is the correct approach to a relatively short trade, Because if you take large volumes, you can not calculate your strengths and capabilities. Perhaps this is the right approach, even in that I earn Bitcoin on trade, you in turn get at least a little, but without risk.

By looking at how big the coin it will last a long time and can count on in the future.
Moreover you can also find out about the type of coin you mean by often read in a forum that discusses many of the coin, so that you can know the development of coin and can be profitable in the future.

@dossantosleite. You are right. To invest we need a working product. Think about the coin potential and usage for future. If you are in long terms investment. If just for short term like crypto trading in exchanger you can use some indicators.
