Do you mean bios mod for 570 or how to flash 570 -> 470?

smOS has has a few test builds out now to try to fix the 4g decode issue with the z170 and z270 boards. Might be worth trying those out.

how to flash
For atiwinflash:
> atiwinflash -p 0 -f Elesmere470.rom

Use cards that are very similar in design, for example asus strix 470 -> asus strix 570.
To be honest i have no idea if card flashed like that will work properly. On the other side, if you can flash 470 with 570 bios, then 570 with 470 should be possible too.
<fingers crossed>

Don't forget to run Atiwinflash in command line with Administrator rights

It is not possible to flash it with atiwinflash because it doesn't recognize the RX 570, I already tried it Sad

I did both, but maybe I made a mistake in some step, I don't know, could you please show me how did you flash your modified BIOS? And maybe this is a lot to ask but, could I have your modified BIOS if it works good? Does it solve the driver's issue that doesn't allow to use more than 5 Rx 570?

Thank you in advance

Ok, i will post a simple way, step by step, maybe someone will find it usefull:
0. Download atiflash ( https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ati-atiflash/ )
1. Use latest gpuz to import bios ( https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ )
2. Use SRB Polaris Bios Editor to open bios ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1882656.0 )
3. Change voltages, frequencies, copy straps, whatever you like. Strap modifier is nice tool, just paste your strap (1750) into the the addres and it will be modified -> http://doreymills.ca/cgi-bin/strapmod?555000000000000022CC1C00AD515A3EC0570E142D4A64080049C700030114207A8900A00300000%3Cspan%20style= (thx Ralph). Paste strap into 2000 field.
4. Save it.
5. Paste atiflash_274 folder into C:\ and put modified rom into it.
6. Press Windows key -> cmd -> run as admin -> cd.. -> enter -> cd.. -> enter -> cd atiflash_274 -> enter -> atiwinflash -i -> enter (it will shoe you your cards) ->  atiwinflash -p 0 ElesmereMod.rom -> enter
7. Huh
8. Profit!

It doesn't solve driver's issue.

Thats why we want to test to downgrade the card to RX 470. But we are unable to use the atiwinflash as it says no adapter found.

I noticed this today, i can get to work only 5 of 6, 570GPU with the latest AMD driver.
I think i will flash to 470 vendor and stay using  17.1.1 relive.

There was no error, windows just rebooted after all gpus stopped. (so the windows loaded it, after instant reboot )
