Smiley Just to confirm, you see a solid 178.00 shares/minute always? I have never seen that ever, but I think mostly its because of stales pulling down the accepted efficiency.

Could you paste one of your outputs from the webpage?

Damn lenny, that 99.98 is sexual. For some reason I haven't seen either blade go over 24 hours. It either says its restarted, or it is actually restarting roughly once a day. Not got the new cooling on yet, but its hardly hot and its typically restarting at cool times of the day/night.

Mine units just go over 1 day. Look at the stats Smiley

Yep I was being silly. Was turning main computer off assuming it would move to my backup stratum proxy on laptop and it wasn't! Hence it was restarting when I turned main comp back on.

Bought 2 more from batch 3.5, and remounted the originals. Was buying a shitty desktop shelf unit made of cardboard and it all just fit so well in the drawers!

At least an inch gap at the back, with the black fans blowing both behind the blades and across the front. Cool to the touch now.

Anyone else want to share their ROI so far? Smiley

I'm at 7%. Getting rather worried about these difficulty increases though and the thought of selling on has actually crossed my mind. I watch the things like a hawk to make sure the pool they're on hasn't died, or my Inet hasn't dropped out, or the stratum proxy isn't misbehaving, and realising I need to do this for at least another 100 days Cheesy

I did my math with 9.9% difficulty increases every 14 days, I came up with 113 days.

I wish I could get 98% efficiency for more than 8 hours at a time, I'm back at 91-94% full time and starting to think it's an ISP/location issue.

I will get 2 blades from the 3.5th auction, and now I am not sure whether they will be shipped with power supply units for the blades. Could someone who has obtained the blades please confirm it for me?

I just found a switching regulator DRP-240-24 from my friend, 24V * 10A, so it will be suitable for my 2 blades?

Thanks.

I think they require 12V, not 24.

yes 12V @ 10A per blade.

While you *could* run the blades in series on that, giving each of them 12V @ 10A, I really wouldn't recommend it.

Most people get a decent ATX PSU with enough amps on a 12V rail and use the PCI-e plugs - works fine for my 4.

Yes, I also thought about the serial way, but I am worried about my little babies.

I will have a try to put off one of my old computers to get the ATX PSU.

8. Can I submerge the pcb in oil without losing the warranty?
You can submerge it in (non corrosive) oil to cool it. If you handle this correctly its lifespan might be even longer than with fan cooling.

Can you provide more details about how to do this? Submerging in oil will not short circuit the board? Should we submerge the whole blade or only the ASICs? I do not want to risk damaging the blades.

Regards!
