title says it all, is minergate a good mining software + cloud mining to use?
i am currently mining with it and its quite good to be honest.
combined hashes per second with my gpu and cpu = 140 ~ 220 Hashes/s
i dont wanna pay for cloud mining until i get more bitcoin and i find out its a legitimate cloud mining service.

NEVER PUT MONEY INTO CLOUD MINING PLEASE !!

You are never gonna get the money that you invested in the first place. That's just not how it works.

Use minergate if you have a good cpu but for gpu try something else (maybe mining altcoins using claymore Huh )

edit:
sorry i didnt read what you said at Use minergate if you have a good cpu but for gpu try something else (maybe mining altcoins using claymore)
which altcoin should i mine then?

edit2:
i looked up claymore's cryptonote gpu mining program and it says its only supported on AMD cards, i have an nvidia gt 730.

if you want gpu mining but using minergate try to mine eth or eth classic, other coin in minergate are not/least profitable compared xmr or eth

if you want still mining monero but using gpu i recommend xmr stak nvidia

https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-nvidia

actually idk if it's good in nvidia, but from my experience using xmr stak cpu are the best among other mining software

I have mined some BCN and xmr/xdn at minergate, works well and payouts have been no hassle. Also enjoyed the chat over there.

I don't know if cloud mining in MinerGate is good. It seems that they depend on Genesis-Mining? I don't think that cloud mining is a good idea.
Mining with MinerGate software is okay. But there is a minimum amount before you can send it to your wallet.
But mining with GPU doesn't work with my Nvidia gtx1080.
It is only good for CPU mining. So coin like XDN which doesn't have a lot of value... And i don't think the value will grow up.
And mining XMR with the CPU is really difficult. But you can earn some satochi. Mining Fantomcoin seems a little difficult too.
I didn't try to mine on minergate pool with another software.

You gotta try nheqminer or claymore's cpu/gpu miners. XMR/XDN with claymore was most profitable but diff is higher on XMR now.

I would never suggest using minergate unless you want to test your GPU for a minute or so because it always shows less than half of your actual hash rate.

It is getting popularity because of the interface and ease of use, I've mined using it for whole day seen no balance on my account!!

I would also suggest using Nicehash as always best compared to minergate.

Thanks

It's advisable not to invest any money into so-called Cloud Mining companies. They usually turn into scam or Ponzis (They will pay only till a certain amount of users to build some type of fake reliability and then forget the rest). In the meantime, even the "reliable" ones may not be worth using in the long run.

Minergate on the other hand, is an Altcoin Mining software, it uses both your CPU and GPU to mine a variety of coins (Bytecoin, Monero, Ethereum and many others), similar to Nicehash. However, any coins you mine are not exchanged into BTC, like Nicehash. Also, the software will automatically switch to the most profitable coin at that time, unless you choose otherwise. I've used both Nicehash and Minergate, the first seems a better option that the latter.

Although there apps built for multiple system are very easy to use, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the company. A quick google of "minergate scam" will lead you to evidence that the founders are associated with other scams such as the bytecoin scam.

Caveat.

I am using MinerGate since a while now...the earnings are not very high but I must admit that I am using really regular Mac/PC hardware and no super-dooper Graphics Cards or similar.

Whenever I have reached the minimum withdrawal amount I have received my coins (e.g. BCN). But it takes long to get to this point and there is a big difference for withdrawal....BCN was ok, XMR now will take me ages to be able to withdraw...

But it's really easy to use for dummies and non-pros.

If you want to mine using your computer you can use SUMOKOIN miner where you can mine any cryptonote-based cryptocurrencies.

Why do you want to mine on your computer mate? for efficient mining you'll need more than 10 Gpu cards to mine Monero.

For cloud mining, use their own profit calculator, don't buy with Bitcoin, find a way to pay with cash, never download a miner

When someone tells you that you could mine to earn more profit.

Please avoid investing into cloudmining. At the end of the day, most of them are ponzis and just run away with your cryptocurrencies. So far, the only one to have lasted is Genesis Mining, although lots of people say they're still sketchy.
Minergate has lower hashes for some reason, so, if you use MinerGate as a pool and you use another mining app, that's totally fine. Just... Avoid cloudmining. That doesn't usually go all that well

Tried:

Kryptex: https://www.kryptex.org/en/

Minergate: https://minergate.com/

Winminer: https://www.winminer.com/

Awesome Miner: http://www.awesomeminer.com/

Computta: https://computta.com/?ref=Xxxxxx

Kryptex, Minergate and Awesome Miner generates VERY low profit for me, Winminer is just a little short of Nicehash, and Computta is being tested now, but until now it seems to be a keeper (for me anyway)

Nice referral link.

I removed Minergate from all of my systems. My 8 x 1080 Rig had only earned 4 bucks in 8-9 hours. PURE GREED! Not even close to what I should have been earning. I've been using WinMiner and for the first 3 days they had some issues but the last 3 days have been pretty darn good.
