I know it's not the perfect place but maybe some1 reads this.

I've bought BTC in localbitcoins.com and using OKPAY+btc-e (took 1week+ to get the money I transfered to OKPAY...). What's the actual best way to do it? In my experience localbitcoins.com is quite good at least for "small" transactions

Personally I did mine through Bitinstant.  Transfering the money by moneygram and got the BTC within an hour.  The problem though is they charge and arm and leg.  Sent $100 and got like $80 worth of BTC after all the fees.
