A potentially critical issue has been identified and some nodes became stuck.

The bootstrap is now upgraded so you can catch up easily in case you run a full node
(by deleting ledger.db and hyper.db in static folder, then starting node)

The issue is now patched in 4.2.5.3 https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/releases

we should make a try to contact those exchange one by one

We did contacted a lot of exchanges, some doesn't list new coins or lists only ERC20 tokens, some didn't answered so far, some are asking too much money, some expressed the interest in listing us.
Also we don't want to get on any exchange out there, just to get listed on more exchanges, no matter what the exchange is as we may end up on a bad exchange, which doesn't update their wallets, have deposit/withdrawals problems or even worst where people loose their money, like it happened with Octaex exchange. But we are working to get listed on other exchanges.

stocks.exchange was asking for 1btc one month ago. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScgX9vWkqmMZc85EffLtYay7nH9eykTpXrDESFDGXPu-YKR7Q/viewform

Bare with me spamming for a good cause: promote a game and a contest, with ultimate goal to raise BIS awareness:

There is now in total : 600 BIS plus 125 $EGG (the bismuth token) plus rare eggs to be won at the dragginator cup, I had to tell everyone, at least once Wink
https://twitter.com/iyomisc/status/1012703499845423106

20 people only registered 130 eggs so far (max is 10 per address).
Will you let them go home with the prizes, or will you try your chance too?

Hello guys and gals!

First of all we want to apologize that it took so long to choose a winner, but the reason behind this was that beside that the team is busy working on the project behind the scenes, we needed 2 stage voting phases to reach a consensus, in the 1st phase we narrowed the logos pool to only 5 of them and in the 2nd phase we choose the winner.

We are proud to announce that the winner of the logo contest is @Eddesign.

If any of you have any doubt about how we choose the winner here is the reference: Bismuth Logo Vote

We want to thank you all for the participation and of course congratulations to the winner!

Congratulations to the winner and all involved. In relation to the Bismuth project what is lacking in order to have full adoption? How can anyone not see the greatness of this project or can we consider that the team is not investing completely in marketing? Anyway, with extreme certainty we can find its price above $ 10, but this will only happen after great advances in the project. Remembering that it is not speculation but a truth.

Wallet for windows runs not very smooth (hang very often).
Is there any news for new exchange? Only Cryptopia seems not enough.

We are aware about this inconvenience, which is caused by the fact that all the wallets connects to the same server "bismuth.live", we will update the server asap and also we will randomize the connecting default server. Meanwhile to avoid this inconvenience you can start the the local node if you need to use your wallet for long sessions.

About new exchanges, this is on top of our to-do list, unfortunately we don't get the expected replys or we just don't get any reply from the top ones. But we are in touch with few new exchanges, which are not launched yet.

I've sent a message in telegram, waiting for your response. Excellence activity, discerning project,  promising idea.

Better come to our Discord channel because we are more active in there then on Telegram.

check out nessie exchange , it's a new exchange launched by monsterbyte https://www.nessie.io/info
also once it's added there you can add the coin to the gambling sites in moneypot.com , so people can trade there and gamble as well

would love to see BIS listed there

Thanks for the tip @SyGambler! We will take a look at the nessie exchange and contact them if they list custom blockchain.

Anyway I have a feeling that when people ask for new exchanges, they expect that that we hit a major one, one of the top 10.

For this kind of question I think the best answer you'll get from one of the core devs.
For a faster (and complete) answer you can come to our Discord or you can wait a bit longer until I ask the devs since I am not a core dev.

Same here.
app hangs every few minutes, non functional. Windows10.

Here everything runs smoothly, i use the wallet to claim the twitter reward and to buy eggs from dragginator. Maybe is something in your PC that slow down the connection or is any conflict.

yeah it's still new exchange , but listing the coin there will have benefits like people being able to play gambling games with BIS so it's not only about the exchange part

I would love to gamble some BIS there

If you're looking for an exchange to join, I'd suggest checking out trade.io as an option.

It is a new exchange launching in mid july. I've followed it since ico and it looks very professional and they have some interesting ideas and promotions.

There isn't any detail on what coins will be available on launch, but there is a build up to launch include prizes. Have a look here if you like https://trade.io/dare-to-share

Two things you HAVE to do without hesitation right now:

1/ The registration has been extended, still time to enroll for the dragginator's cup and win 1100 $BIS
http://dragginator.com/cup_help.php

2/ Vote every 24H for BIS listing at
https://shardax.com/votes/coin?coin=Bismuth
Go #Bismuth!!!
