Yeah , this is the reality in the bitcoin that we need to pay more fee for the confirmation Because without confirmation we can't do nothing ( even we win but we can't withdraw  before confirmation ) ,.so here we need to pay high fee for the confirmation .
But here I think we should move from the bitcoin to the altcoins gambling like eth or dash or doge like altcoins when fee is very small and no fees in the case of the dogecoin​ .
Here I myself using nitrogensports.eu for the Gambling Because at this gambling site the odds are more better then what we didn't expect at another Gambling sites .
When I already not deposited any bitcoin at the Gambling site then I made direct bet  at directbet.eu ( since expensive of 0.5$  but greed is more that I can't control ) .

What you said if it happens then really gamblers will be very happy, but it can happen very rarely. Most of the time gamblers are going to lose money. But I feel that whether betting from any coins the result will be same, but you should bet less with higher price coins and more with low price coins. Nowadays most of the reputed sites are accepting few different coins for gambling.

Yes, that is correct we can always adjust our bet amount according to BTC price. I so for gambled only using BTC because I don't want to exchange only for gambling purpose. I usually bet on sports so it is very easy to adjust my bet amount for each game as per the BTC market price. But while playing dice game I need to be careful because I need to adjust the maximum bet amount I need to stop in case I get continuous losses.

What type of gambling you are playing, I think you can lower your bets if you want, in dice it is possible as even with little satoshis you can still gamble. It is your decision mate, most of the gambling sites are giving us a smaller minimum so that is not expensive IMO. In my sportsbook which I play sports betting, I do gamble with a minimum of BTC0.001, still cheap I guess.

Other currency like eth is increasing aswell and i don't know any sportbet that accept alt-coin. If you want to reduce the fee, you should deposit in a large number instead of small one. They will calculate the betting amount and place the bet. Because they need that extra money. Yes for example last week 0.02 BTC value is now almost 20% increase. Gamblers will really don't care at all and it's even an advantage for us because if you are a small time gambler then your small amount of bitcoin's can now be considered as higher one.
