It must not be lower bet when you will be considering fiat value. Honestly I am afraid these higher prices of bitcoin might lead to more losses even for the same amount of bitcoins as some times I do forget to set lower bets based on current bitcoin prices. The buying capacity of bitcoin just got bigger hence we need to adjust our base bet accordingly to ensure we are not risking beyond our affordable limits.

Gambling is not a mandatory procedure that everyone has to comply with ,if you are not interested in gambling so be it.Having more options for the users is a good thing,but only a few sites allow users to wage a bet in alt coins since majority of the gambling industry is ruled by bitcoin and the major concern to me is not the price but the transaction fees and the delays to send and receive coins has increased in the past few days which is frustrating.

i think if you are going to play in gambling in bitcoin and your income is also in bitcoin then it will not effect your gambling games. but if you are playing gambling in bitcoin and your income is in your fiat currency then it will be really difficult to manage continue your normal betting. and yo must have to reduce your bits.

Nope, I believe gambling with BTC is still cheap, if you do not have money to gamble then do not gamble.  If a satoshi for you is way expensive then I think you should not gamble or avoid gambling at all.  You will end up with a debt if you continue this.  I said it because 1 satoshi is almost nothing but then you think it is expensive.  There is one reason why you said it, and I bet you knew it.

What do you mean too expensive ? Just use less Bitcoin when you gamble. Remember it is worth more and gamble in lesser amount then before. There some other casinos you can gamble with altcoins. Monero and ltc and doge or clams and there some others. So go stock up on some altcoins.

Bitcoin is still 1:1 so whatever it's price, high or low, it's doesn't matter to gamble it unless you will purchased bitcoin by your fiat and will use it to play gambling.

What is the sense of using shitcoin in gambling? It's just a complete waste of time. 99% of shitcoins doesn't have chance to bring back to it's peak price. That's why it called shit in the first place.

Well I think the OP must be factoring the cost of transferring the Bitcoin into the casino account and back that's why he's worried else whatever fiat equivalent of Bitcoin he intends betting with will be the same in the Altcoins and so mak s no sense so I suspect he's worried about the hike in transaction fees as well.

right. there are more sites that play with dodge now and I agree that with the amount of btc today, it would really be regretful to lose any amount as it can very well have been a good investment in a couple of weeks. btc right now is for holding and I wouldn't even think about spending a single sat on gambling

I dont mind on using other altcoin on playing gambling since i do have set an amount for me to play on a particular day on a week thats why i dont care at all if bitcoin is expensive or not. Using alts is only good when you are on a hurry specially on transfer times/deposits because they do confirm very fast compared to bitcoin.

When it comes to confirmation times then altcoin does really have the edge but comparing the usage or bitcoin compared to altcoins then BTC is on par. Most people do prefer to use bitcoin no matter what would be the current price as of now seeing again its almost hitting $1600 which is already high but if you are playing basing on local fiat rate then its just fine and theres no difference.

I don’t see why confirmation time should be any issue when you gamble, since you could always make a deposit in the bitcoin casino the day before you gamble and by that time the transaction should be confirmed and if you are playing and see that your bankroll is going down you can deposit before it runs out.

I have saw not many sites are using doge for gambling on their sites many sites are using bitcoin for gambling and for those who are addicted and do not want to use their identity will definitely use bitcoin in any way while those who play only for fun will play on any site so they will go to altcoin sites for gambling. Well it is expected, with higher price of bitcoin, the loses even with the same amount of BTC would be higher in terms of USD.  Though I do believe it is still cheap to gamble with bitcoin, for the fact that we can play even at 100 satoshi and this 100 satoshi does not cost us too much unlike if we use fiat currency in gambling.

The defragmenting possibility with bitcoin has given us the access to gamble even with very small number of Satoshi. This is good, but the same time the fear of losing has increased much, that even a small loss will be a big one when calculated in terms of USD or the local fiat. People will soon get adjusted or fixed to it when the price Keep on increasing.
