I agree it is quite faster and cheaper to move LTC from one wallet to another wallet.  Until Segwit is implemented and see the difference of fees and movement, gambling site should consider altcoin as alternative.  I have tried it myself moving altcoin and bitcoin to a gambling site specifically LTC, where LTC arrives in less than 3 min and way cheaper transaction fee.  I can enjoy the game in earlier time after deposit unlike when I deposit Bitcoin.

Yap and the most issue on gambling via btc is just the percentage of your wining would just end up being on a transaction fee. But This issue would be changed or wont be mattered anymore once btc can at least implement something to help the transaction fees like the segwit. But other than this issue i think the transaction fee would just go along with how much the price of btc to dollars is. Because when the price was low the fee was low, and not that the btc price increases, shouldnt it be normal for the price to go up? But this price hike in fee for me is just a little bit not normal.

I think now on words the sites will start to accept altcoins. Now if we compare to LTC to BTC transaction. LTC transaction will take very less time to deposit and the fee also very less. Yes, i am also waiting for this segwit I hope after this the transaction fee may go down and the confirmation process also improves.

Does it matter? People are going to bet the same amount of bitcoins as when the price of bitcoin was lower. People don't care about how much they are losing, they only care about how much they are winning. They are not going to convert how much money in fiat have they lost. It will make them depressed and feel bad about themselves. Gamblers avoid that.

This is a good thing for bitcoin casino owners. The price of bitcoin is increasing but the bet amount of people don't get affected because the casino don't show how much in fiat is the bitcoin that they are betting.

Segregated witness is being activated in bitcoin if everything goes according to plan. Soon we can enjoy gambling in bitcoin again. One of te reasons that I haven't played any poker matches lately is because I hate having to pay high fees to transact BTC into my bitcoin wallet in te casino. This will be solved soon.

The big whales in my opinion are not even bothered about the transaction fees. The smaller fish, players who gamble with a few bucks are the ones who are affected by the transaction fee. Yeah i agree. Same with gambling with fiat, real gamblers wouldn't even look at the amount or the rate of whatever currency they're gambling with. As long as they're enjoying, the price won't matter. For regular people like us, of course it will matter. I don't feel as easy gambling with btc amounts now compared to before when the price is a lot lower.

You can still find sites to play poker with other cryptocurrencies....but I still use bitcoin.  If the site displays amounts in dollars, but doesn't actually convert, I will play with bitcoin....but if they convert it to fiat I wont because of the heavy swings lately. I'm satisfied now with the adjustment that blockchain.info has set with the fee. With the last transaction I made it's only 0.00015 BTC. And that fee was very low compare to those xapo users that are now paying 0.001 - 0.002 BTC priority fees for just to them to get confirmed immediately.

Is that true? I guess need to use up blockchain wallet again since i left this wallet when the fee rose up on 0.001 going back in the past but as you said now they lower the fee which is really a good thing for me. Its just really normal to think that the higher fee the faster it confirms. Btc isnt expensive to gamble since we are always basing on the current exchange of fiat.
