I am certified digital marketer as well as tried every method of marketing and advertisement.
I think that T V is one of best advertisement media to reach to mass audience. Basically T V Advertisements are which ads shown to audience offering products.
Bitcoin is not a thing that can be advertised on T V. Rather I think Service provider can offer Bitcoin related services to user with doing advertisements on TV at domestic or regional level. But Bitcoin is global/ worldwide topic and directly impact of equity.

I only saw bitcoin once in television in our local channel when the ransonware virus is starting to spread in every computer.
That the first time i heard bitcoins name in my country.
I experienced that too. Bitcoin is known worldwide for its association with ransomware virus. It should be in addition to the news, there are some developers who have large capital in investing bitcoin can implement and pay the cost to advertise bitcoin on TV. They can provide about how bitcoin works and also the benefits derived from using bitcoin. |

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
This is good for publicity but, since no one is the owner of bitcoin, who would pay for it? |

Maybe the news is only in japan country and not in his country, I think it's a good idea to be in his country, advertise Bitcoin on TV, which is important from all the good stories about Bitcoin so everyone judges Bitcoin well and not with its ugliness. . |

This is a decent idea. Not sure if it has been done before, but someone could like make one bitcoin wallet, then just accept donations from everyone. The collected donations would then be used for advertising payments. hmm.

if we just advertise the bitcoin on television there are two sides of it, its either to increase the value of bitcoin or to decrease the value of bitcoin,,increase because it will be known by many people,,decrease because some of the people will just say that it is used by the criminals to paid another criminals.

Instead of advertising bitcoin directly on the tv if products which accept bitcoin are advertised with a special emphasis on accepting bitcoin then it will develop more interest and create curiosity among the people to know what bitcoin is and it might bring more and more people to become part of bitcoin ecosystem.

Advertisement in the internet is not always enough because not all the people are in the internet and there are some people who still just watch television for something like developments and the news about something so if we want to promote bitcoin then we should do it both in the internet and in television at the same time to get good results. I think there is no illegal in promoting in television so we will not have any problem. |

Countries have been showing positive signs for bitcoin acceptance, so advertising on television doesn't seem to be a big issue. Right now spreading through word of mouth is more enough to make a stable growth. Also these days more promotion were happening through social media. |

I think one of the bitcoin companies or exchanges such as Coinbase would be better placed to run advertisements rather than a general bitcoin advert, it would be difficult for the community to organise something like this.
I agree because not everyone understands it and this will make it complicated for other people. |

I agree with you, it would really cost a lot of money just for advertisement. Maybe a short clip of about 20 seconds is enough. The advertisement will contain slides on where you can buy bitcoins and where to spend it. It will show jow convenient it is to buy things online using bitcoins. Let the people be amazed and let them search through the history of bitcoin and other important topics. |

Advertising bitcoin on TV is not a good idea because before proceeding for it you have to first get bitcoin legal status in your country if not you will be in legal problem because when you are advertising in TV then their should be legal proof if not you will be in problem and more as above one users commented that advertising in TV is a too costly process and you cannot give full detail on bitcoin within secs for that you have to give more time.

Yes, exactly I agree with you mate, what if not directly since for sure no one will in charger their selves to pay for the advertisement rather those product or services will initiate to introduce bitcoin as mode payment and an emphasis on that paying method so people will be notify that to their service or product users can use it and some will be intrigue of it with " oh what kind of method is that?, is more beneficial if we use it?" something like that. So people will be publicly advertise by that form of method. |

channels are not going to introduce bitcoin for free. they will collect high fee for that, with the rate of per second. some channels are under government and therefore they will not be allowed to advertise illegal stuff, and therefore will not and advertise bitcoin on such channels. if we cannot afford to advertise it on TV then social media is another good option because most of the people are using facebook and twitter for communication. that is really a cheap and easy way of introducing bitcoin in different areas. |

This is fine, because many people will know btc and promote the btc reception of the government, but it is worth paying attention to who will pay for the ads on TV. On the other hand, for btc bad thinkers, putting btc on the TV is almost impossible.
I think it can not be done because no users are willing to take care of bitcoin advertisements and pay them with their own money lol Actually bitcoin ads have been assisted by third parties. Where bitcoin accpeted on there. Many I saw gambling sites in advertising and many of them accepted bitcoin. Dissemination and advertising occurs naturally |
