Does anyone know a site where I can lend bitcoins? I prefer not a long lending time. I know bitbond but maybe there are better ones, and is it completely safe?

THere is a site called BTCJam... I think it is still functioning but nobody is using it anymore. Most of the borrowers runaway after getting the bitcoins and refuse to pay back and many investors suffered losses and unable to get back their investment.

bitcointalk.org and it is an awesome forum Smiley

go to lending board and see what others are doing, you can start a topic there and put your offers up. be careful though there are scammers who will scam you for less than 1 dollar!

also make sure to read the sticky topics.

Yeah, there is a lot of scammers there if you are going to be naïve and just going to recklessly lend your bitcoin to someone who would say to you that he is going to return it to you on the deal that you guys made, but the real thing is, he us just going to scam since he knows that you are too naïve and don't know what to do on lending. But it would be better if you guys are going to have an escrow for this, just to be sure that the transactions that you guys are going to make is legit.

I think you might be better off by investing some coins in a trusted casino or something like that.
It would be much safer and you'd get somewhat similar returns without the risks of them not paying you back.

Another option would be to lend to Poloniex, but the returns aren't that great.

I'm an looking for lenders for a current project I'm working on.  I'm willing to take on short term loans at a 10% weekly rate.  I am setting up restaurants in the San Francisco area with the ability to accept bitcoins .  We will recover 3% of all future Bitcoin transactions at the restaurant.   As it is just starting out I need some initial start up funds.  Lend your bitcoins to:   1FH6TuVZW9Z2q3Djc56h3tLYGce8X8EVWZ
7 days from your loan I will return your funds with an additional guaranteed 10%.
Thanks.

You have absolutely no chance of anybody lending you money in this kimd of way. No escrow, no collateral to secure the loan. You might as well have SCAMMER tattooed on your forehead.

I just have one question before I believe you: What happen if you decided not to return the money? What can I do to make you pay back?

You wouldn't be able to do anything. He'd get negative trust on his account. He'd likely discard the account & continue doing the same on a new one(s).

It's easy, you can borrow it right at this forum. Maybe you should learn more about this place. However, in order to borrow some money, you need collateral, or you have a tremendous trust in the forum, however, here mortgages are a prerequisite to You can borrow BTC here. Also, I do not know about any other reputable lending website.

It is foolish to expect sizable returns in a "safe" venture. Lending involves risk. There will be defaults.
In the virtual world, defaults are all the more common.

Might wanna check out xCoins. It's some sort of platform where you can lend Bitcoin securely.
The only downside is chargebacks that might occur.

Yes it seems a good idea than we lend bitcoin to others that they will not necessarily pay for it, maybe investment and trade become another alternative to profit.

Are you serious about Bitcoin lending.
I would prefer to hold it and try other ways to earn more rather than jumping in prone to be scammed environment or giving unnecessary worries to mind through collateral glitch!!

I suggest against this plan. You are better of trading your bitcoins at an exchange or just holding on to them. Even with safeguards, it's still quite easy for borrowers to just run after getting your money. I don't think it's possible to get a suitable collateral in an online only transaction. Loans are much more risky than trading.

IMHO you are better of lending money out to people you know in real life. If you've held your bitcoins for some time, it's possible to just take the profits from it and use that to start your lending operation. Make them sign papers so you can sue them, or at least ruin their reputation by posting photos of the note, if they fail to pay.

The number of scammers is so high that the profits from lending on sites like BTCJam is negligible.

Furthermore, many of these sites denominate their loans in USD, meaning that Bitcoin's growth exceeds the profit of the loan, and minus the chance of scammers you're looking at a pretty decent negative number.

The only profitable way to lend Bitcoin is to margin lend on sites like Poloniex, but considering how unreliable Bitcoin and altcoin exchanges are it might not even be worth it for ten percent or so per year with a lot of work.

There are plenty of more profitable investments than that - like casino bankroll investments.

Talking about safety I'd suggest you open up a lending thread and lend only to people in your locality whom you'll meet in person. It's safe to meet them and get some verifications before you lend else I'll advice you to forget about the whole lending idea.

Isn't any exchange site like poloniex provide the lending feature? you can also lend bitcoin here in lending section but i don't know about the interest rate. You should forget about lending if you want to search something safe as there's so many scammers that it isn't worth for the little amount of interest.

Does anyone know a site where I can lend bitcoins? I prefer not a long lending time. I know bitbond but maybe there are better ones, and is it completely safe?

There are many different sites where you can use your funds converted into BTC for a loaning purposes. It obviously depends on what rate and interest you are looking for, but there are some options in between you can choose.
For example, Poloniex gives a great way to invest your bitcoin. You can just make an agreement to borrow your money for margin leverage purposes, as traders borrow the money while selling on alts.
With something like that, the rate is pretty decent and the whole investment is almost risk free.

Dont forget about using bitcointalk.org ! You need to remember that we have many people looking for a loan here, at "Loans" section in "marketplace" , I suggest you can go there.

On this site you can start lending money on the lending section of the forum but before starting the service make sure that you read all the rules and requirements for to start as someone will lend money from you and will run away. Try to lend to those who are having positive trust and are well reputable person of the forum.

You are right, There is a lot of scammer who want loan without any worth collateral of the amount of loan. So doing that staff is risky. But if you are dealing with high trust member here, there is no fear to lose your money. You can lend your money without fear of scamming. Anyways, This is a good domain for making some profit but when we do that we should be smart and do not give our money to any unkown person here.

I wouldn't lend out Bitcoin! Most of the platforms who offered this kind of service where scams or used by scammers.
Just buy and hold. Everytime you have some spare money left buy a bit more. In a few years you will not regret that.

The main problem is collateral. Lending without it impossible and scammers always prevail.

What do you think why banks do not lend money without collateral? It s simply impossible.

Even banks end up not pursuing so borrowed money, for example credit card loans. If banks can't pursue these people which they have all the information for identity, what make OP think it would be easy to go after someone he just met online.

Why you don't lend to a friend or to get a deposit in bitcoins with a year interest. I don't see the point of lending bitcoins to strangers.

In any cases I saw a few days ago a site neubus or smth like that.  I don't know how actually works but you should give them a try. Just type on google bitcoin lending and there will be a lot of opportunities.

I don't think borrowers will be able to pay the interest plus the rising price of BTC.

Best to try your luck with Poloniex. You can lend your coins to margin traders.

As was said here, the problem is the collateral, until now I didn't find any worthful collateral to start a lending money business. Altcoins lose price fast and if someone has funds in Altcoins, he can just convert it to BTC, so why would this one borrow money?

And physical items, what would be nice to have as collateral, is impossible as we live in very far away countries and the mail costs are expensive and I think nobody would want to do it just to borrow money. There are better ways to earn money online...

I never tried to open some lending site outhere since im avoiding to get some debts to the other people thats why im not familiar at them. But if im gonna let myself to do that much better if i just lend onhere and find trustworthy guy that can handle my collateral more better. Lending some money got risk since our collateral might be get by the lender if we can't pay our debts on proper time as discussed between lender and the barrower.

You may lend everywhere as long as you will be conspicuous about acquiring collateral which will be more value than your lending out amount. I agree the platform where you will be conducting your lending business should be supportive for dealing against scammers so carefully choosing the sites i more important.

I suggest you to have a blog kind of web pages to list out to your offers on lending and then promote your business through social media. But always deal only with collateral. But my first suggest too, conduct lending business here in this forum.

Might wanna check out xCoins. It's some sort of platform where you can lend Bitcoin securely.
The only downside is chargebacks that might occur.

It was a joke Grin. But with multisignature you could propose this kind of services with a plateform if you respect KYC/AML of course

In the case of an ICO project, a third party is often appointed to guarantee that the funds will not recover without respecting the token crowdsales conditions.

There are also people who are investing on altcoins and we all know that in some cases the longer you wait for the higher the chance of gaining more profits that's why its better to lend it instead of selling it as there are tumes when a certain price has a low chance of coming back . Lenders are always looking for a stable altcoins like dash or eth the price won't drop that fast .

The collateral should be transfer digitally and easy to sell to be valid .
