Total time logged in not increasing

I registered on this site a few days ago, but according to the stats, I've only been logged in for 2 hours and 10 minutes. I realize that starting noobs off under moderation prevents bots, but this policy is "over the top".

From the time I posted to now, the time increased only 2 minutes. WTF?

almost to four here...but you have to make sure there is some refreshing or clicking for the time to run up.
