I tend to agree.  The whitepaper is not sufficiently detailed for peer review, much less a government grant for even a tiny fraction of the amount raised.  Yet EOS claims -- without proof -- to have a solution to an extraordinarily difficult problem that has eluded academics and scientists at some of the most prestigious research institutions on the planet for decades.  This by a team that has a reputation for over-promising and under-delivering

Thanks for the info. Be sure to read about cooperation with exchanges. I think this will help me to draw conclusions.

The EOS token swap is in the summer correct? I just found out that Kucoin will be supporting the EOS token swap, I like that fact that exchanges are taking the initiative and making it easier for investors to do this transitions, this is all very new to some people and making it easier by exhanges makes adoption much easier.

Correct, Kucoin and Binance also. Look here: https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001649171-Binance-Will-Support-EOS-MainNet-Token-Swap

Based on this announcement of binance, yes they will support for their costumers https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001649171-Binance-Will-Support-EOS-MainNet-Token-Swap but doesn't mean it is free risk when snapshot of ethereum wallet happening because the error data can be happen, my own opinions will be better to register your ethereum wallet before EOS blockchain is available.

I think if you don't understand these technologies well, it's one of the safest ways to put them on the exchange. After that, they will automatically help you turn to eos wallet.
Of course, if you understand these technologies, your own conversion is the safest.

There are a little panick around which I'm unsure as justified, EOS appear very reputable after all.
Yes the price is starting increase too right now and EOS a look into a budding platform coin is good in the future check this, EOS will be major coin. https://www.thecryptodivision.com/eos-a-look-into-a-budding-platform-coin/ although the EOS blockchain is still not available until june 1st 2018. Let's wait and see about the another progress of EOS blockchain.
I`m not surprise because bitcoin is also gaining and if another crash happen hope the price won`t be affected too much, many of the coins/token have fallen under ICO price because of the dip days ago.

Thats a big deal, finally we are seeing some serious partnerships take place. I really hope EOS brings to teh surface what they have been talking about all this time. Will be a great accomplishment by the team.

If you want to send EOS token on exchangers (Kraken) you must send at least for 4 EOS token due to Kraken will takes maintenance wallet fees for 3 EOS token and you will receive 1 EOS token net on Kraken, it was my experience when sold some EOS token but i don't about rules of another exchangers and i never send EOS to another wallet of ethereum.

Hi gribble. Kraken charges a Ȅ0.2 deposit fee and a one-time Ȅ2.0 address setup fee, so your first deposit would see a deduction of Ȅ2.2. This information can be found here.

Please drop by our Bitcointalk thread if you need anything else!
Oh oke thank you very much for your clarification about fees on Kraken, i think i have made wrong due to i have got the data on about couples months ago and i don't follow about new fees on Kraken platform.
try cobinhood exchange then. zero trade fees and zero wallet set up fee.
i strongly recommend
Great thank you very much for your information will be bookmarked, but i don't have plan to sell EOS token right now due to EOS is still not started and i think the price will be more expensive than today due to New VC announcement - Block.one and FinLab AG announce joint $100 million fund for EOS.IO projects in Europe - https://medium.com/@eosio/finlab-ag-and-block-one-36cf89e8d17a

Probably the safest bet is to wait for Exodus to release the update that will allow you to register your EOS tokens. Glad they are doing this proves again why they are one of if not the best wallet out there! EOS is going to be huge this thing hasn't even gotten going yet.

Many tutorial about how to register wallet ETH before 1st june, i don't think it is something difficult to be done take look https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@tj4real/how-to-register-eos-tokens-in-myetherwallet many other information on steemit related with it, register your ethereum is more safe than on exchangers because, you have full control your token.

Weiss ratings change weekly, in the most recent one (15 March) 5 coins scored the highest rating of B-  EOS and steem was amongst them. Eth was a C+ this time

EOS will launch in a few months, here’s what we know…

Around 70 days to go (June 3rd) until the EOS blockchain goes live. Over the last few weeks we learned quite some interesting details. Here are the ones I think are most important:

EOS is on schedule and will launch in June. No delays expected as all tests are going well.
EOS will support at least 1000 transactions per second at start. This is reached using a 1-core implementation. The devs expect 1 CPU-core to support up to 30K transactions per second but as security comes first the EOS Virtual Machine will scale to this number step by step...

What is the real difference in between registering your own eos prior to june and purchasing in the change after fresh eos is definitely released?
