Leading French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron's campaign said it has suffered a "massive and coordinated" hacking attack after thousands of internal campaign emails and documents were leaked online. The announcement came late Friday, the last official day of campaigning in the fierce election race and less than 48 hours before polling day.

As CNN reports it's fully censored by all french medias. This nation isn't fit to be part of a military alliance with USA. What else are they hiding?

Long live the us press! What ever, bs, truth or revelations backed by the most lethality. There is no other way...

70k docs... and the macaronis saying that fake reports have been inserted... lol.

It is weird that today he found out this leak. Maybe he really tells the truth. Macron like any other politician is a public face and certainly he attracts the interest not only to its competitor but also to others around the world. But he can say lies or simply he can represent things worse than it really are. Tomorrow is the day of presidential election in France and with any way, of course, he wants to get as many votes as he can.

So, we have a massive leak of emails, specifically from the more left leaning party, possibly with sensitive information, being released on the eve of an election.
And being disseminated by Wikileaks.

Where have I seen this before?

Oh yeah, our shitshow of an election.

Maybe if they figure out who hacked this, they will also find those responsible for compromising the DNC servers.

It's also quite hilarious how sources for wikileaks can't seem to hack any conservative servers or accounts. Just moderate/left leaning parties.

Is wikileaks being duped by a state actor posing as a source?

The Commission on the monitoring of the campaigns for the presidential elections of France called on the media not to publish information which was provided by the hacker organization WikiLeaks that reported the leaked emails of staff of the candidate in presidents of France Emmanuel Makron.
The Chairman of the Commission draws the attention of the media on the sense of responsibility which they must demonstrate, as to endanger the free expression of voters and the authenticity of the vote. Thus, it requires the media and, in particular, on their Internet sites, not to report the content of these data, Recalling that the dissemination of false information may result in prosecution.

LOL I can't believe.
After Hillary and US presidential election, we have another 'massive' email hack.
Who is responsible now?
Wikileaks or Russia?
It's public secret that Putin wanted Trump in the office.
Le Pen visited Putin and said already a few times that she wants to terminate EU sanctions for Russia, because of the Crimea.
So, we now have the ''same scenario'' again.
Political candidate, supported by Russia, receiving support through public blaming and disclosure of private communications of a political competitor.
Do you believe in such coincidence?

Of course is a damn coincidence....
Funny how wikileaks has not at least once released anything about god emperor Putin or his allies.

Ever heard of some leaks about Le Pen? Nothing about how much did she get from the russian banks?
Nothing abut her trips to Moscow cause she went more times to Moscow in visits than to Paris Smiley))

I don't, but, Breitbart does, apparently:
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/05/06/wikileaks-sceptical-macron-leaks-fake-russia-falls-spotlight/

Commenting on Twitter, the organisation called the cache a “significant leak” Adding: “It is not economically feasible to fabricate the whole. We are now checking parts.”

Three hours later they added: “We have not yet discovered fakes in #MacronLeaks & we are very skeptical that the Macron campaign is faster than us.”

However, they questioned the timing of the leaks, pointing out that Macron is still comfortably ahead in the polls. The late timing of the release, they suggested, means the information will have little impact on the final result.

You know, just how the DNC leak didn't affect Hillary's chances. Or the Comey announcement that the GOP is STILL talking about (we can be concerned about Hillary and some goddamned emails that we actually have/can read and check, vs obvious collusion with Russia by the current administration that we have to dig for).

Making America Great Again, one  enemy state sponsored leak at a time.

You don't know how things work in France and you didn't bother for a second to find out.
The blackout is installed before the election for everything that can affect the election in the last 48 hours.

Once the election process is finished they will be allowed to talk about whatever they want.
Juts like you;re not allowed to air polls or results during the voting process.

I know the procedure but its about the candiates not about the media being silent about leaks.
And how come that "truth" can be something bad in a democratic decision?

Define "truth".
Was is true that Hillary Clinton was having a pedo party in a pizzeria?

There is a media blackout specifically for this kind of truth. And this is one thing Trump taught us to be a good one.

Well of course not! But the media reports -> "that it was stated but can't be verified" and a sane person can think himself about it being true or not.
It's not the function of the media to censore parts of the picture "just because they don't think its true". This is dictatorship btw.

What if a tv station will air some news that Macron has hit his wife, police has been called for domestic violence at their home and she died at hospital because of the wounds  ?

Thee will be no time for a disclaimer, there will be no time for the "real" truth to be heard.
The tv station willl pay a fee which Putin will gladly cover and Le Pen will be the next president.

The blackout is normal for any emergency situations and for things where fake stuff or rumors might influence bigger things.

A sane person wouldn't believe stuff like that. It would be nice that the average citizen in France has the right to know the truth about the "wannabe communist Macron" with his 90year old wife.
