It is hard to believe that this hack was just an accident.I would believe the devs "hacked" themself to keep away 7 million usd while giving people tokens created out of thin air.
Mt. Gox claimed a hack too while they were laundering money out of the exchange. Getting hacked right at the moment the ICO started is very convenient indeed. Of course they will now provide everyone with the useless CDT tokens that nobody will touch with a 10 foot pole and hightail with the ICO money. This is one way to keep reputation intact for the next big scam venture.

coindash is really a scam project i actually thought this project was legit and the hack wasnt from devs but in the end it was planned by the devs i wonder why they didnt do it the last day of the ico they could get more. if the bounty participants saw this topic first before they joined in they could save time

I wonder why the hacker has all the ETH at that address still? would think they would have moved it elsewhere by now. Inside job...

Hopefully the media will connect Alon Muroch to both GETGEMS and COINDASH, now that they've both scammed investors.
Both already being the worst scenario in crypto and especially for the coindash, there is no reason to buy its shares rather than just throw the token to the trash or just try to burn them all. incompetence developer in the worst project. That's so clear in my opinion

I just noticed they locked the CoinDash thread. That’s exactly what they did with Getgems.
The goal is to move all the noise and criticism to a private chat where they can keep a lid on it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the stolen funds find their way to PayKey / Getscammed CEO Daniel Peled.
Alan Muroch likely still works for him.

I am in no way defending this company or supporting them and the project, I also understand the loss of confidence in the project (I feel for those impacted), but with ethereum's value increasing, does that soften the loss a bit? They will have operating capital, although at this point, they may have little trust from the community... For this (and all) ICO's isn't there a breakdown of what the money is for (salaries, R&D, bills, going concern principle, equipment, wild parties)?

Nice thought, Why they did not take action and did not report to the police? If indeed it is hacking and no one is acting then it can be ascertained hacking done by insiders.

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. People need to be careful about where they invest their money. Research the team behind the ICO, etc. These guys aren't the only ones. There's a number of scammers out there, and being unregulated and decentralized is just asking for trouble if you're not careful about who you buy into.
