What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments

* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment

No fees for obtaining cash or using CC/ATM/BANKS??  = so false and obviously false that it hardly merits a response.  Of course there are many fees here, both % and flat fee.

Work offline 100% =  Not if you are purchasing online, or internationally.

Accepted for Food Shopping and Micropayments =  Crypto is clearly more cost effective and efficient for micropayments than cash, you have to be trolling.  In Japan people buy groceries with bitcoin all day.

0 confirmation time =  False once again, CC's require confirmation time, and bank transfers/wires require much longer confirmation times than bitcoin/crypto.

0 exchange risks?  = False again.  If you hold more than $250k USD, the additional amount is not FDIC insured, and you are therefore not covered.

anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment = somewhat true, but not fully due to inflation.  Look at what happened in Zimbabwe, Argentina, Germany after WWII, Venezuela, and other countries with inflation. 


Fiat currencies like $ and Euro lose purchasing power every year, while bitcoin, although volatile, tends to gain you money, not lose you buying power like dollar.

Yes cash is a physical thing. We need to accept the fact that bitcoin is not as easy to get or withdraw. We cannot see it instantly. But we more like the bitcoin over it. Because of its price and because we can earn it without knowing of the government. But both sides are good ano problem with that.

Because people use bitcoin not for their currency. Yeah of course with certain reasons such as lack of accepted. They use bitcoin just for their investment and profits. Other than that of course they will use cash or fiat for all activities such as spending, saving, etc.

I think the most easiest reason why people prefer cash than bitcoins is that it is more convenient to them. Especially if they wanted to buy something and would need cash it would be easier for them to get it from their pocket right away.

Plus the fact that there are only some establishments that accepts bitcoin as a payment.  It is not yet recognized to some people so they prefer of course cash.  It is more convenient to buy foods and other goods using cash because it does not need to log in or have it online, once you give the money and have change then the transaction is completed.  And who will buy candy on the street using bitcoin?  But of course, bitcoin is safer than cash because it cannot be taken away from you.

For what I could say was that cash right now is really better than in bitcoin in terms of physical usages, however if we are going to talk about their usages there are many reason that bitcoin is better than cash though it is important by now.

Keeping cash with you is valuable these days untill the whole world know about bitcoins. Still People are unaware of crypto world. It will be more efficient in coming years when technology increases and we will have bitcoin ATMs all over the world so that time it will be easy to keep any amount in your BTC wallet that can be used for either shopping , working etc.
I beleive this time we prefer cash but upcoming world will be of BTC

I agree with you on that one, and that is the reason why bitcoin and other currencies will never replace fiat currencies,  with fiat you are able to buy everything you feel like buying. e.g you can ice cream with fiat but is very difficult to do that with crypto currencies, even if it might happen somewhere around the world,  but its rare.

cash is not better than bitcoin but it is the need of the day. In fact the use of bitcoin is not available everywhere therefore still people are using bitcoin but i am sure that when bitcoin facilities will be available everywhere then people will give more interest to bitcoin and will like to use bitcoin instead of cash. i think in some places people have already stated bitcoin for shopping online as well as in their local shops.

In the world there are many currencies, but you can buy ice cream only in local currency. It connects you to the terrain. Bitcoin can be exchanged for any local currency and any place where there is Internet. This makes it more convenient than your local currency.

Majority is treating bitcoins as an investment. They consider it as an easiest way of multiplying their money in short time. But it can also be used as a currency. Many states have already made it legal. Besides websites are also accepting them as online payment mode. Personally I support bitcoins over cash for many reasons. The most important is its potential to grow speedily in short time.

Cash is better than bitcoin because even us we convert our bitcoin to local currency to be able to use it in our day to day lives because when we go out to the streets and wants to buy something no one wants to accept bitcoin as a mode of payment because they gave you what you need and you must pay it back at the same time. You are right but the question does not really mean to have only one answer because the answer depends on the person who is using it
and on how they compare the difference and the benefits they will get. In broader sense, cash is more valuable since it has been used for many centuries
and people are getting used to it already because of it's simpleness but there will be a new world order and we will all be adopting to digital world.
