Norse clearly shows that they getting DDoS'ed and this could be seen for more than 48h BEFORE they admit it. You telling me a company earning more than 500BTC+ a day in fees (according to the volume they list) is not able to hire a company who tells them what to do and how to proper mitigate a DDoS? They simply don't give a fuck. Explain to me why the API goes down as the last thing ALWAYS, explain to me why the market history is on fire updating itself while nothing else, except for the troll box is working on their fucking site.

Yeah we know, whales drive the price up, start selling, DDoS happens, everyone's panic selling and whales buy back cheap. If you can't keep your fucking exchange up for 90% of its users, HALT FUCKING TRADING if you are unable to deal with IT basics.

You think Polo is dangerous now?
Is it time to widraw funds from POLO?

I think now they are facing some major issues with people's withdrawals, but I think they are working in the background may be after DDOS. Many people have a panic about the fund they have in POLO. Things will settle once everything is back.
I used Poloniex early today and things work right well, People need to remember that Poloniex is hotspot for hackers so for them to suffer DDOX attack don't need to be taken out of proportion provided your funds are secured

At least there's one voice of reason in this cesspool of pointing fingers. Polo is huge, likewise they have a huge god damn bullseye painted on their servers. Every hacker skid on the planet would try to take them down. Can't anyone grasp that?

They need to shut down trading.. Some people getting their trades while others cannot.  If is a total fucking mess this morning.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

If i'm not wrong this happen on Saturday or Sunday, when STR market falling to 1400 satoshi, and I was panic too so I'm withdrawal my Bitcoin to another exchange need longer than usually to get process from Poloniex but finally got my Bitcoin. In my opnion Poloniex still the good exchange for altcoin market, I hope all this isuess will get fix soon.

I hope it too, not for poloniex but the users. not all eggs in one basket the saying goes...

When the people of the world will get that covid was intentionally released to frame china, steal the election from trump, assure massive bail outs and foster the forced vaccination agendas...they will forget, like 911, wmds in irak, uss liberty or pedogate.

Warning, your withdrawals might take more than 30 hours to a few days to process if you:
 - Have not enabled 2FA
 - Recently changed your IP
 - etc.

I am really sorry about your loss but the above measures is been put in place for the security of our accounts.

I withdrew btc from my poloniex account yesterday without any problem.

I had no problems taking all my coins out of Polo.
I am very upset about their BCC silence so I have lost complete trust in them.
I would suggest all users take their coins out of Polo.

"August 3, 2017
Bitcoin Cash Update

We've received several inquiries about Bitcoin Cash (BCH) since the fork on 8/1/2017. Our hesitation to immediately support BCH or any other Bitcoin (BTC) derivative was and is born out of the desire to ensure the security of network operations and the safety of our users' tokens.

We will be crediting users who had BTC in their account balance at the time of the fork with matching BCH. We expect this to occur on or before 8/14/17. Keep in mind that we have not yet determined if we will be listing BCH as a market on Poloniex nor can we commit to supporting BCH withdrawals right away. The ability to withdraw BCH will depend on network stability which is completely outside of our control.

We appreciate everyone's patience on the matter.
