Hi,

I'm having problems with a XFX 1250W PSU.
I can't get it to power on with the  "paper clip trick" when I only draw power on the 12v PCIe connectors.

I remember reading about that some PSUs need to draw power on the 5v rails to actually deliver power?
It works fine if I use a add2psu adapter.
I want to use it to power my baikal miners! Smiley

Tips?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I normally connect one fan to psu just to easily see if it is on or not, would that help in your case?

Just get this.

https://www.ebay.com/p/BITMAIN-AntMiner-ATX-Power-Supply-Jumper-Switch-for-PSU-and-Bitcoin-Miner/1054665726?_trksid=p2349624.m4097.l9055

Also baikal 300mh uses only 75 watts, so sometimes you need a load on psu soonest

This turn on cube to provide such. Then psu switch or paperclip trick on psu switched on

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

xfx 1250w extra cables (( unexpected ))

Before one month i made a ticket in xfx support site and i told them if they can send me  2-3 more molex arrays because im using this psu for mining and the sata cables become too hot.
They answered after 1 hour and told me that they can send me more molex arrays!
3 days ago they send me an email to say that they sended the items(( and excuse for the delay  because they send the items from hong kong))
Today i received a big packade (( FEDEX EXPRESS ))not only with 2-3 molex arrays but with 20 DEFFERENT SETS OF CABLES (( ALL TYPES )) FOR 1250 PSU!
IT WAS UNEXPECTED!
For me ,that was a present from XFX.
A BIG SERPRISE!

A BIG THANK U FROM ME TO XFX FOR THE QUICK RESPONSE AND FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!
