I am a newbie in trading but during the pump of all aitcoin,I 've bought some decent coins hoping for more pumping but I am trying to be patient to wait as all my coins price keep falling,at this time I can't sell and re-buy but to keep waiting for the price to bounce back,but I am beginning to think if I can sell off and buy back some aitcoin with a great loss ,is this a good strategy or what should I do?I invested in ETH,ETC,LTC and some other coins

Most of the altcoins established a good volume recently that really magnet other traders, new or old, to acquired and purchase more.

While there is an ongoing price increase, always keep in mind that price decrease always follows. Now if you are already on loss in some alts you have invested and if you think that alts will surely back on track then I suggest to just hold it while at the same time you are hugging those dips by adding quantity of that particular coin.

This is only just a suggestion and final decision will still on yours.

Don't do such thing if you are on negative now don't tend to cut loses and panic sell even you are seeing the price is going down and seeing red on your pocket then better to wait a little bit more.Its better to be patiently waiting that to cut lose because prices will eventually go up in after how many months or years since as I saw that you are buying the potential coins out of the market.

That's true you must update yourself by following closely the movements of the coins you have invested the key is buying early not later and buying and selling on time you must know how to differentiate coins for short and long term.

In my opinion, you should keep waiting and do not buy or sell altcoin at this time because this is the time period have big changes in the price of bitcoin and that is affecting the value of altcoin, Bitcoin is pumped very strong and we can not know when it stopped, so best is you should not be trading in this period. Bitcoin price increases may be the trap of traders and investors, they want us to sell altcoin with low price and then they buy and sell at high prices but all is just my speculation, you should be careful during this time

you buy after the pump has happened and then hold the coins for a long time after you missed the chance to sell and keep losing money. you either lost a lot of money before you give up and sell or have to wait a very long time for that coin to get pumped again and you can make your exit with your money being stuck in orders for months even.

what you need to do is to learn what a "stop loss" is.
put simply, you sell when price goes down, lower than a level that you think you are not willing to lose more. and then buy back if and when you think the bottom is reached.

a good strategy is always buying when prices are low not after they are already high

And what you are seeing is just that, now I'd suggest to just wait and settle the price value around a base number and then buy. And wait for the next pump for some profit.

dont worry, if you really bought quality alts they will exceed far what you have paid for them in the future

when btc makes huge steps alts shrink back mostly

quality alts will continue to rise in USD value without doubt.

Ok, give me your opinion on this, I dont have much money, im currently saving money til the end of the year to invest in this businness, but im divided between to choices for that money...

1. Mine bitcoins, genesis mining has a liftime contract considering its a long term investment I think its worth it
or
2. Buy a bitcoin and exchange it for an IOTA token, cause its really does seem promising( the next big thing in this market, at least thats how I see it)

When bitcoin increases like it is doing now many people tend to cash out their alts causing a lot of the alts to decrease.  We should at some point see this in reverse, it's entirely up to you and how brave you are, if you have alts like you said LTC and ETH these have more chance of being around long term the your average alt.

If you can suffer the loss and you sell now and your alts do increase after you have sold this can be quite frustrating believe me.

If after one year you bought these coins they're still below your buying price maybe I would be a little worried, maybe, but for sure not after a few weeks.

I'm new as well and the first time I bought some Bitcoin the price was 600 euro each, after 1 month I saw them at 480 euro. Did I panic? Yeah, a little, but at the same time I knew it was quite a long term investment and there was no need to sell them. Now, 10 months later, they're 1,600 euro.

So just keep calm and think that there is a good possibility that ETH, ETC and LTC will increase their value in the future
