This isn't suppose to be for the experts and already penny earners here but rather for fiat users and believers.
Not everyone will join crypto, hell crypto only means BTC because only BTC is most important and most legit.
If you go around a city blocks asking from people about altcoins they will look at you like you're from outer space.

Though if you ask people about Bitcoin from every 1000 people at least 1 has heard about it.
I'm talking about serious wealth here not earning some few bucks by pump and then dump on newbies.
I'm talking about a guaranteed doubling of your fiat currency in approximately 6 months period.
There is a good chance to successfully double $1B in a month with recent fluctuations in Bitcoin and not shitcoins.

What if in the 6 months due, the price of bitcoin at that particular time period suddenly decreases? well the amount of btc that i've held on from last year already doubled its value in fiat so I think holding on to your bitcoins and waiting for the right time to sell it would be a very good idea to double your money. and to think that all I had to do was not to withdraw and spend my btcs. patience really would reap good rewards

any investment is always going to be a comparison between risk and reward and when the reward is high enough compared to the risk you take, then that investment is plausible.

when it comes to altcoins, they have a very huge risk. specially "at this point" when they are all pumped to their maximum capacity and then some more. that means the risk of dump is even higher than before. so the investment is not plausible anymore.

in bitcoin we will always have rise as long as we are having more adoption. and if you take a look around the forum and news, you can see how much the adoption is growing day by day.

right now, I think you'd have a lot more chance in investing in some alt-coin than bitcoin, unless you have some income of bitcoin.

I believe we already have a term for this. It's called holding (or HODLING as some fans here call it).

I still doubt it would double in 6 months though, bitcoin is at a steady climb but there are bumps along the way which could cause crashes. I agree with the "forget" thing though.

You took a risk in that investment so you already knew you have a chance to lose it. IMHO it's good to have a separate btc "vault" where you just stick them there frozen in time and "hot wallet" from which you conduct other btc related activities, like trading.

Bitcoin really gets me confused because i haven't got an idea about it plus there are so many names that i dont understand, there are altcoins, doggecoins and a whole lot more.. GOD, have tried mining but i stoped coz my miner stoped and didnt really pay out, plus i have read that you really need to buy stuff to get profits on mining and invest a lot of money..
This is so frustrating.. cant explain how disappointed i was when i tried mining coz i expected a lot because of what i read on fb that i could earn lots of money with mining bitcoins..

Edit : took me months to realize that all those links they gave me were refferals and they get something out of it immediately when you click and register. Thats why they sweet talked me and told me they'd help me every step of the way, then after i registered i get blocked on their fb.. really really frustating. Hope this mever happens to anyone.

Buy bitcoin on your local exchange and if you don't have a local one, convert your fiat to USD and use one of the international ones.
You can also use localbitcoins and see if someone is selling Bitcoin in your area.
You can try gambling, but if it's your first investment my recommendation would be to buy and hold for a couple months.

This must be a realistic way of doing it but unfortunately people do believe into FUDs more quickly rather than real facts. But for those people who are doubting about the future of bitcoins, only regretting later would be the only option will be left with them.

Why do you think people are into alts recently? it's not because they offer something greater than Bitcoin, in fact people are only buying them because of the fear of missing out the opportunity.
In matter of 1 week one big pool with most of the hash power which is considerably low compared to Bitcoin can fork, attack to double spend or split, how did ETH go?
Whenever any altcoin's hash power reached to the levels of BTC and you see pools are mining worldwide you should stick to that alt like you are sticking with BTC now, but until then it's a pump.

Do you see difficulty of Bitcoin mining dropping? it will only go upwards which will result in price going upwards not to mention the 21M cap.

It's just matter of will, if you will to buy Bitcoin you can find hundreds of ways to do so, even I from a sanctioned country can buy Bitcoins in bulk.

When I started in this forum price was around $350-400 and no body trusted me enough to give me fiat so I could buy Bitcoin, I knew then, price would increase, even now if I had $10M I would've bought at least $2M with the current price and if it went down to $1200 I would've kept holding until I could sell for $4M.

it was a big risk , people will always want to double their money safely which i don't think there is a way to do it. you must take a risk in this world , otherwise you will get stuck moving nowhere . $1,800 really expensive if you looking backward, so try to looking forward!

Here is a tutorial for dummies about doubling our money and not Bitcoins with scam scripts, remember no one has your best interest in heart to help you double your coins, however there is this thing we call it Bitcoin and indeed you can effectively double your fiat money with it.

This is somehow true. I already experienced it. But not for a very big amount of fiat money. But we must take in to considerations the thing that we could achieve if we do something to earn. Doing nothing is laziness. In this industry, it is a matter of taking the risk. What's very promising is that the return of your hard work will pay-off.

Do trading. Altcoin trading is the easiest way to double your btc. Its also risky. Make a study first before you buy. Right now the altciins are crashing. Its a good time to buy ceaper coins. I recommend Poloniex for a newbie because its simple. Also they got the best altcoin on market.
