Took some time to fully flesh out a website that teaches people how and why they should invest in bitcoin, and also some effective methods for doing so. I am still creating more pages and content for the site, so please be patient.

There are really only three ways you can obtain Bitcoin - mine it, trade it or earn it. While mining and earning will take some work, trading currencies from other formats into Bitcoin is the simplest and most direct way to invest in BTC.

The potential of Bitcoin is immense when it comes to how it can shape the global economy. We’ve seen it already in Greece and we’ve seen it in places like Cyprus. In the event of a financial crisis, Bitcoin has been used as a hedge to store and transfer value between individuals. And the best part is that the payments are instant and safe from the control of a centralized government.

If the free market – which is made up by all of the Bitcoin users around the world – decided that the new Bitcoin price should not be U.S. $250, but U.S. $10,000, no central authority can say this cannot happen. Bitcoin is one of the very few transparent and borderless digital currencies that can both lose value – Fiat currency – but also gain value, like precious metals. Here at Smart Bitcoin Investments, we understand the history of money very well.

Considering the limited aspect of Bitcoin, both in quantity and in time, and also the media portrayal of it, Bitcoin has tremendous potential to quite literally become Digital Gold.

Retirees and those leaning towards long term investing may especially benefit from the information provided. A 401k to Bitcoin IRA could be an extremely lucrative option for your retirement plans and help you navigate the turbulent waters of the economy.

If you are looking for a feature film to entertain your brain or just a documentary to educate yourself, I have compiled a complete list of documentaries on the subject of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

I am really trying to compile something that is thorough and complete, so if you know of a crypto-related documentary I may have missed, please mention it so I can add it.

And yes, I have actually watched them all  Cool

5/27/17 - Update: Brand new look and updated navigation for the website.

- Got a chance to clean up some of the copy and also spice up the On Page SEO.
- Added Alt Text to a number of Images
- Site now passes the mobile-friendly test
- Improved site speed

ToDo:
- More content
- AMP (Accelerated Mobile Page) Implementation
- Start ranking on page for more keywords

Have started to receive a lot more organic search traffic thanks to backlink swaps with other members of the forum. The site is already ranking on page 1 of Google for "Bitcoin IRA Reviews" and a few others. Side note: if anyone wants to swap website backlinks feel free to send me a PM.

As someone who is within an SEO mastermind group, I am looking forward to ranking my website for hundreds of keywords.  Grin

Happy Bitcoin investing!  Cheesy

Nice website but you do need to add more content, more ways to make money and offer concrete advices. Generic articles without lots of real and useful "meat" won't make your visitors come back.

Good luck.

THanks man! Really appreciate the cool feedback. Some people think Bitcoin is just fiction, but the severity of our financial system is fact, so we need to be aware of how we can secure ourselves financially for the future.  Cool

Just FYI, RegalWallet (what you link to in the "Free Bitcoin IRA Guide" under Useful Resources) is pretty off-putting with the generic splash page and especially this revelation:

Not sure if RegalWallet is yours but if it is, that mistake is worth fixing.

EDIT: Just noticed you sponsor them via the "Best free bitcoin IRA" link in the nav bar.

Thanks for sharing with us, I'll bookmark and add your site into useful source for newbies who wants to learn more about bitcoin, it's pretty good to inspire me as well. And it is possible for you to get more information about bitcoin projects where people could invest and get profits? not an ICO because I know there are some projects like that. Something like advertise some projects and get paid, or anything which will be profitable for both sides.

Good eyes. Thanks for pointing out the out-of-date numbers on the Regal Wallets landing page. I have already shared this typo with the developers and it should get adjusted soon, if not already.

Btw if you were wondering, Yes, I am working with them as an affiliate. Regal just released their all new Bitcoin IRA investments kits this week. Very excited to see how it plays out.

For those interested in an excellent Bitcoin passive investment opportunity that takes advantage of the power of compound interest check out USI Tech. You simply purchase a package for 50 Euros and have it paid back to you in about 1% increments per working day until you reach 140% Return on Investment.

The downside is that you have to put your Bitcoins away for some time (at least 140 working days but you get it all back within 100 days), but the USI Tech team specializes in compounding capital and investing in assets/business opportunities that bring a healthy return for investors. The best part is their package 100% auto rebuy option which enables investors to really make a good return with their seed capital.

USI Tech investment opportunity:
- Forex and crypto trading
- Arbitrage
- Custom Bitcoin and Ethereum mining investments
- ATMs
- Leasing patented technology

Our strategy is to purchase a set number of packages and set the rebuy to 100%. Then for the rest of your commissions simply reinvest or earn from affiliate commissions.

Here is my review of USI Tech:

Nothing wrong with more and more websites popping up re Bitcoin, but am highly doubtful of Bitcoin investments that are actually viable. Your latest post, for example, resembles more of the typical, run-of-the-mill HYIP than anything else. Don't you think 1% a day just sets off all sorts of alarms, especially when you're allowed to "reinvest" at the end of those 140 days? Even the best legitimate Bitcoin generating opportunities out there are at best low single digit interest rates (margin loans at some of the big exchanges, for example).

Careful you don't get tempted to write reviews and earn referral commissions, or you descend down the route of hyip site. You're an investment knowledge site, maybe focus more on education and awareness?

Good point. It seems right after I completed the post, USI Tech came under strict regulations in both U.S. and Canada, so I would be wary of investing into it for the time being. In fact, if you are invested within USI-Tech I would advise that you start taking your BTC out. A friend got me into it and although it may sound great for a quick return, over the long run I think USI Tech is a scheme.

You are correct about creating articles for the legitimate investor in cryptocurrency and specifically Bitcoin. I think I will be turning the site into a high value, long-form content sort of website.  Cheesy Appreciate the genuine insight.

For the time being, we have shared another great post on Why Bitcoin Is Valuable And Will Be Part Of Our Future. I think Bitcoin will be the staple crypto for the next few years....maybe not forever but definitely for a good while. I like the fact that you're explaining everything in an easy to understand manner. I also like the fact that you're putting out all the warnings out there nice and early so that nobody goes out of their way to invest in bitcoin only to realise that they've just lost their entire life savings after suffering a single crash.

Since your site is a pretty investment oriented site, I would steer clear of reiterating info that everyone already has even though you can definitely put it in an entirely separate section. IMO if you want to talk about how you can invest in BTC, then you should just stick to that. Leave the hardware wallets etc. to another section of the site.

Also I'm pretty sure you have only talked about how to use coinbase, and none of the other exchanges. Should add some info about other major platforms as well, especially how to make a profit from LBC p2p trading.

Although the website is centered around Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency investing, it is important to stress the benefits of other assets like precious metals so we went ahead and created a Gold IRA rollover guide. Those who learn mostly from the crypto-universe will gain knowledge about gold, silver investing which will help in the long-run.  Grin

Coinbase may be the most popular exchange around, especially if you are in the United States or Canada. With their mobile app, buying and selling crypto is seamless and easy. Right now they have 4 cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash - and are rumored to introduce Ripple in the near future.

If you have been considering Coinbase as a legitimate place to buy Bitcoins then our latest review will be useful for you.

Did you know Dubai is set to become the world's first completely Blockchain centered society? Everything including passports, land deeds, banking info, and your driver's license will be on the Blockchain - completely transparent and working seamlessly with each other.

Before cryptocurrency can take off there has to be a real use case for it in day to day life (otherwise it is just virtual money). Once Dubai is able to solidify their position as a fully integrated Blockchain society then it will not be difficult to imagine the rest of the world following suit.

If you are in the Dubai area and would like to learn more about how you can effectively buy BTC check out our newest article:

Ever wondered if you could buy some Gold with your Bitcoins?

The cool thing about Bitcoin is that it is similar to Gold in terms of intrinsic value and usage as a medium of exchange between Fiat currency. Some people like to carry gold while others want cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. There are actually places where one can go and buy Gold with their Bitcoins and vice-versa. Here are just a few sites that will allow you to purchase Gold with Bitcoin.

If Bitcoin is a great investment, then what are the future prospects for Litecoin?

Here are a few fun facts about Litecoin:

  • Used primarily as a store of value
  • There will only be 84 million Litecoins in existence compared to 21 million Bitcoins.
  • Litecoin transaction speeds are 4x faster than Bitcoin
  • Litecoin is Silver where Bitcoin is Gold

On top of this, both the Lightning Network and LitePay are close to releasing for the general public. This will make Litecoin easier to use for the average person, especially when it comes to everyday transactions such as buying coffee.

If you want to learn more about whether Litecoin is a good investment check out our newest article:

For those wondering about real estate and how people in places such as Arcadia, California and Dubai, United Arab Emirates have already purchased homes with Bitcoin, check out this quick introductory guide:

https://www.smartbitcoininvestments.com/bitcoin-real-estate-what-to-know/

With the evolution of the blockchain it is clear that financial and property data is headed to the more secure and transparent medium. Real estate agents and investors will have an easier time tracking their sales and investments, along with the financial data associated with it. Buyers on the other hand, will see a transparent view of the title deed, previous owners, damages, etc.

Overall, being able to own or sell a home on the Blockchain will be a benefactor for those who choose to do it.

There are few companies disrupting the industry of Point of Sale (POS) systems. Square Inc. is at the helm of it and is monopolizing the art of cash registers by incorporating Internet of Things and also cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.

Other companies providing software and/or hardware in the growing industry of IoT connected Point Of Sale Systems include:
  • Square, Inc
  • PayPal
  • Vend
  • Stripe

Gift cards are often given to others as Birthday gifts, Christmas presents and as presents for loved ones. If you have any spare, used or new, Gift Cards laying around the house it is definitely advisable to redeem them one way or another for Bitcoins. Not only is it fast, free and incredibly easy, but the process is fun as well.

Here are some examples of the type of Gift Cards you can redeem on Paxful:

  • iTunes
  • Amazon
  • Steam
  • Sephora
  • CVS

With LocalBitcoins you can trade your gift cards in person to the seller for bitcoins.

Paxful is one of the easiest places to buy bitcoin. On the platform, you have over 300+ options to purchase bitcoins including:

  • credit card
  • debit card
  • PayPal
  • MoneyGram
  • Western Union

Also, leftover gift cards such as iTunes, Steam, Amazon, Starbucks and many, many more. The great thing is your purchases have no fees, and seller's only get charged 1%.

Set up is quick, and verification is simple. I would recommend the platform for just about everyone since it delivers a seamless experience for buying bitcoin.

Coinmama is an excellent way to purchase Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, and Cardano instantly with a Visa or MasterCard credit card or debit card. The process is fast. It is simple to get started, and Coinmama delivers a stupendous experience for beginners and advanced buyers and sellers alike.

The exchange platform is accepted in over 180 countries, and I would recommend it over Coinbase.

Just like Coinmama, CEX.IO offers an extremely simple way to purchase Bitcoin, Ethereum, and 8 other cryptocurrencies with a credit card or debit card.

Unlike Coinmama which charges a 5% fee, CEX.IO has a 2.99% charge for credit card purchases.

The platform is easy to use and offers a sexy interface for users to make quick market transactions. The fees are low and transactions are protected with Two-Factor Authentication.

Overall, I would recommend CEX.IO over most other platforms for buying cryptocurrencies with a credit card.

Not only is it one of the most popular exchanges for transacting Bitcoins globally, but also LocalBitcoins accepts just about every payment method. No matter what kind of financial situation or payment methods you have available the great thing is you can still get your hands on Bitcoin.

All you have to do is either arrange for an in-person meet up with a local dealer, or private message them so you can buy with PayPal, postal mail, Western Union or any type of payment method you two decide.

Overall, I have made a number of transactions using LocalBitcoins and met some interesting people out of it as well.

I would recommend the platform for those just getting started, and also to very experienced sellers who see opportunity in the cryptocurrency space.

Bitcoin is just getting started as it is only 10 years old, and beginning to stabilize in value, not only in the public's eye but also as an alternative asset that functions as a digital store of value. Bitcoin is growing quickly and has the largest developer base out of all the cryptocurrencies.

As a cryptoasset, Bitcoin is being used in a growing number of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, and will only expand in its use online. We will see the Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin accepted here symbols all over e-commerce sites in the near to long-term future.

There are more ways to buy bitcoin than most people think are possible. PayPal is the worlds most popular platform for sending and receiving money. It is also another viable method for buying bitcoin especially on sites such as:

  • XCOINS
  • Paxful
  • LocalBitcoins
  • Wirex

Buyers beware, however, that PayPal may not be the safest method for purchasing bitcoin so it is advisable that you do not make large transactions through PayPal. Instead if you are  buying a large amount of bitcoin do it on a normal exchange.

If you are buying bitcoin with a debit card or bank account you might want to know what the most bitcoin-friendly banks are in general.

In reality, there are only a few banks that will let you buy bitcoin outright and they are Ally, USAA, Simple and Goldman Sachs (there may be more, so feel free to send me a PM if I missed any).

In general, you should avoid purchasing bitcoin using any of the big 4 banks i.e. Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and CitiBank.

Bank account and bank transfer is one of the most popular methods for buying bitcoin. It is also the least expensive and most secure method. The downside to buying bitcoin with bank account is that it is slow and can take anywhere between 2 to 8 days to fully process.

If you are a trader or long term holder then bank account might be the best option for you. If you need bitcoin instantly then I would suggest that you purchase it with a debit card or credit card.

Some of the more popular exchanges we recommend for buying bitcoin with bank account or bank transfer include:

  • Coinbase
  • Gemini
  • Kraken
  • CEX IO
  • Coinmama
  • Poloniex
  • Abra

Most exchanges accept bank account as a payment method so it is wise to check with your favorite exchange before making a purchase decision.

The founder Hans Wildorf saw the potential in wristwatches and made it his mission to popularize them for high performing citizens. He started out by creating the world's first waterproof luxury timepiece called the "Rolex Oyster" that spawned the success of the brand.

Today, Rolex is worn by athletes, artists, musicians, presidents, queens, and celebrities all over the world. Rolex watches are known for retaining their value over time and are highly coveted by the entire luxury watch community. Many models sell out while others can be found in jewelry stores all over the world.

The United States is home to many bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchanges such as Kraken, Coinbase, Bittrex, Gemini, Poloniex and many, many more.

Venmo, now owned by PayPal, is one of the most popular payment apps in the United States. Venmo is an easy way to send money to another person using their phone number, email, or username. Many people use Venmo for its social network and to keep track of expenses with friends.

It is rumored that PayPal / Venmo will be incorporating crypto buying and selling services into the app soon, so it is possible that Venmo will be even more popular in the future. We think it would be a good idea to know your current options when it comes to where you can buy bitcoin with Venmo.

Both Paxful and LocalBitcoins are marketplaces that will let you connect with other buyers and sellers of bitcoin. Either of these two marketplaces would be a good place to start if Venmo is your main method of payment.

Smart Bitcoin Investments is releasing the newest issue of its popular Travel Brochure to readers all over the globe through search engines, downloads, email newsletters, forums, and press releases. Each issue is packed with direct knowledge of where the most popular places to buy bitcoin are, what the best exchanges are, and how you can buy and sell some for yourself - no matter which region of the globe you find yourself in.

Within the latest issue, you will find expansive coverage of the United States, Canada, most of the European Union, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. These guides cover the most popular cities and supported exchanges within each region in which you are able to either buy bitcoin in person with a Bitcoin ATM or through a digital asset exchange. We recommend storing away this Travel Brochure somewhere handy so that you can refer to it anytime that you travel abroad.

You can download it here (and view the complete spreadsheet here).

The latest edition (Volume 4) spans over 20+ countries all within 130 or so pages.

We are proud to announce that our newly created bitcoin ATM map featuring over 20,000+ bitcoin ATMs across the world is now available to the public.  Grin Over five hundred man hours went into this project including product design, development, user testing and feedback. We are still continuously upgrading the project so feel free to send us your ideas, comments and suggestions for improvement.

All website registrants are able to create a personal profile where they can save their personal preferences, favorite bitcoin ATM listings and add or remove bitcoin ATMs that they manage and/or operate.

Using the bitcoin ATM map users are able to perform the following actions:
  • Search for a specific bitcoin ATM location, city, country, or state/province within a certain radius
  • Get directions by walking, public transit, car, or bike
  • Print directions
  • Contact the bitcoin ATM operator by email or phone
  • Visit the operator website
  • View bitcoin ATM details
  • Embed a map of the bitcoin ATM location
  • Add each bitcoin ATM to favorites
  • Share the map of each individual bitcoin ATM on social media or messenger

You can check out the full-featured bitcoin ATM map here: https://www.smartbitcoininvestments.com/bitcoin-atm-map/

Bitcoin ATM operators and owners can feel free to submit their own bitcoin ATM listings through the app if they are not already listed on the map and the listing will be added upon moderation approval.

Feel free to give us your feedback as we are still improving and optimizing the bitcoin ATM map on a continual basis.
