I have seen the Storj coin traded in Poloniex and Bittrex. I assumed there was already working network and a blockchain already running it. My question is about the pricing. Will the protocol always price the fees in US dollars? How will it adjust the fees during the time when there is high volatility in the market?

Best to price the storage fees in USD because first that's what customers understand better, second because doesn't matter if coin volatility is high, you'll still pay the same amount in USD.

During times of high volatility, what if I buy STORJ, as an example, for 1 dollar per coin and then use that to pay for the fees then the next minute the price would go down to .50 cents? That would mean I am paying for .50 more.

The meter was calculating based on the floating price of Bitcoin, instead of at time of purchase.  So it looked like more money was spent than there actually was.  They applied a temporary fix yesterday, and are applying a permanent fix today.  So it now properly shows the correct amount based on time of purchase.

the preICO funding was based on invested time too ?? so they paid 40c/token but since there was a mega ETH pump they paid more ETH/token than on ICO right  ??

Just a flint and the storm is set. The ICO is kinda high and they had the presale with enough amount. Now this silly thing where btc and eth are mooning and the ico could have been brought at a better time frame. Instead of getting there,  is deflating and taking longer under our lingering nerves. Great.

^^Does that ever happen with ICOs?  I can't say I'm very savvy about them and don't claim to know the inner machinations of any of them.  This one in particular I think will reach its goal.  Seems very legit unlike many of the other ones.  Again I say props to Storj!!

The minimum raise threshold is set to 10 million and that was met with the presale alone.
So tokens will be distributed at the end of the sale.

For each one sold in the sale one gets burned.

Basing on the duration and progress of sale i think it would really reach out the specific goal amount.The question above would really depend on devs if they didnt able to reach out then its possible they will burned the remaining tokens or decide to refund all the money of its investors but i strongly believe it would really be reached out.

Based on this, its very much obvious that this will be oversubscribed and its not going to be in small amount from the look of things. My questions is its has been said that the sale will end when the cap has been reached, what will happen to those who still needs to invest? I suggests an allowance should be made in regards to that.
