This is actually a good idea. Despite their dubious nature, ICOs are very good investment if you can get in on the good ones - really kicking myself in the head for missing out on Gnosis

You can try to use santiment slack, and i think you will get a lot of benefit through join on the santiment slack, because there is a special page for ICO discussion. I think you will get more knowledge about how to choose the right ico and sentiment data of ICO.

The idea is to have an independent community chat where people can come together & discuss. That wouldn't be fair if we do it on some company's community chat.

Exactly. Begone with the shillers! Having an open community discussion about upcoming/ongoing ICOs can be very beneficial to the crypto world as they get bigger and bigger.
