[摘要]中国海军第25批护航编队“玉林”号导弹护卫舰成功营救1艘遭海盗劫持的图瓦卢籍货船。行动过程中，中方抓获了3名海盗嫌疑人。

据报道，中国海军近日向索马里当局移交了3名海盗，据悉这3名海盗是中国海军4月9日在解救图瓦卢籍货船时抓获的，请予证实。

国防部新闻局：

4月9日，中国海军第25批护航编队“玉林”号导弹护卫舰成功营救1艘遭海盗劫持的图瓦卢籍货船。行动过程中，中方抓获了3名海盗嫌疑人。

依据相关国际法和国际实践，经与索马里联邦及地方政府等有关方面协调，中方于当地时间5月5日向索马里邦特兰政府移交了海盗嫌疑人，整个过程安全顺利。

中国军队将继续常态化派遣舰艇编队参与护航行动，履行国际责任和义务，为维护地区和平稳定、保障国际重要通道安全发挥更大作用。
