1 BTC = 100,000 USD Do you think it will ever happen?

My main focus is reaching the $10,000 level at some point, but there is no way anyone can rule out the price to touch $100,000 in the far future. It will be when institutions and wall street billions will flow directly into Bitcoin. By that time Bitcoin will be a play toy for very wealthy entities. But hey, it's not all that bad since Bitcoin is extremely divisible -- people aren't forced to buy themselves a whole Bitcoin.

If we see the recent bumping in the chart from this year starting. Obviously it is possible to reach the big value for one bitcoin in near future. Now almost standing near to 2000$. We will pass by next month or after that.
Already many fortune 500 companies started accepting to buy their products and implementing blockchain technical security systems and etc.. Even you can buy Microsoft windows license and products with bitcoin. you can check that in their site itself.

first target is $10k, when you reach that reaching $100k would be like reaching $10000 from 1k, like we were some time ago and now we moved to 2k

if the story repeat itselft, this what will happen in the case of 100k we will probably move to 20k first and so on, i believe it need two more halving at least, or in 2028, 20 years from the beginning like the satoshi prediction about no volume or big volume....

Before saying it is possible, tell the reason first why bitcoin will reach $10k.  If you can not find a valid reason except from adoption stuff reasoning then this is just a wishful thinking.  $100k is quite impossible and not realistic in my opinion.

I totally agree that bitcoin makes the unexpected reality but 100k seems to be a bit on the high side. I expect bitcoin 5k - 10kin a few years and that seems to be the max if you ask me.
A higher value then 10k is hard.. very hard. Just see how the alt's are rising.

$100k not $500k! 
It might be possible for price to go up to $100k, but it could take a lot time. we've seen what legalization of bitcoin in Japan did to bitcoin price, the price stands at $2k now. imagine if every country did that, the price of bitcoin will only go up!

Out of the Ordinary sure it can happen if the number of demands for bitcoin increase sure it will continue to grow, and as of now the value is $2000, in just a week starting in $1700 mark value it just sky rocket to that price and I think many have expecting that but your speculation of a $100,000 for a bitcoin is very very far away for now from the time being that is why I guess It is good to just drop the expectation for now and focus on the now that are being given to you.

That is not a bad expectation from Bitcoin, but before such expectation can be brought or seen in reality, that will be a very long time of years to take or might be in 3-4 generations from now.

and that's why it's possible. no one's here still. people with your outlook will be long gone before it happens.

and people keep forgetting about how the price is set. it's all down to a few thousand coins on a few exchanges and who's willing to buy and sell them. nothing else. if you started off today with the aim of reaching a $100,000 price you could probably get there in a month by spending a few tens of billions of actual dollars, possibly less.
