Mining rigs are generally pushing the GPU to the max, which makes doing anything else that changes the display a bit "iffy" for other usage.
It SHOULDN'T affect file integrity though.

65c is not that high , how many gpus are you running on same board? nVidia or amd? What is your cpu and ram? ::you can go to the windows apperance settings and select "adjust apperance for best performance" it will make things more better if you experience some lagging

65° is a pretty good temp, don't go above 70° now with summer coming, i think your problem could be remote control, are you using teamviewer or others program like that?

65 C is nothing to worry about on a modern GPU - they're designed to run in the 70s or even in some cases low 80s with good long-term reliability - though cooler WILL generally increase lifespan.

Artifacts usually means: 1 - if under the load only, then overheat of a video ram/gpu 2 - anytime load/no load, then its already damaged memory/gpu, especially if you start seeing artifacts during boot process, before driver is even loaded.
i would not worry if gpu runs anywhere under 80'C and i would worry if it runs over 90'C in between is sort of "pay attention" area to my opinion

Me personally on my nvidia rigs: <60* is ideal 60*-75* is acceptable >75* is unacceptable If they start to go above 75*, I start adding more active cooling to keep it in check.
