Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I expect when next batches will release, price there will drop significantly. There is no sence to buy at such high prices.

Hitbtc seems much lower why not get it from Hitbtc?
You CAN'T withdrow from Hitbtc, because it's futures they are selling.   They will allow to withdraw only after WTT will start trading on exchanges, and there will be blockchain for it.  This won't happen till 2018 I assume.   Another thing is that you can't 100% trust hitbtc, because it has no transperent owners.  If they disappear some day, you will loose all tokens.  It's much safer to rent.

Has anyone bought miners from BITMAIN ( not through giga watt ) and have them hosted at giga-watt yet?

I bought some miners directly from BITMAIN yesterday ( and will buy some more tomorrow ) having them shipped directly to giga-watt.
Just wondering if anyone else has done this

Regards

I dont think so, because tokens are issued related to added mining capacity. (demand part)
$3 is lowest price, and it could be as high as $10

I have bought from Bitmain and have shipped to Gigawatt directly.
Right now my L3+ are on the way to Gigawatt.
You have to notify the support your antminers are on the way along with tracking info.

You should send it to this address below.. I was told by Gigawatt to send it to this address.

Yes I have that exact information.
I put down that address when I ordered my D3's yesterday.
I chose UPS as a shipping method.
When I chose FEDEX BITMAINS website asked for a Importer Number.
I had not idea what that was so I then changed to UPS.
Let me know once your miner gets there and is successfully installed.
Mine are coming in November.

How did you work out the Power cord issue?

Giga Watt requested I send miners with PSU and Power cords. Bitmain doesn't supply the cords. I just had them sent to me directly to include a 220v cord with each miner.

If that's the case I will just order power cords from Amazon and have them shipped directly to giga-watt.  I got lots of time, 4 months till they ship!

I just got this response from giga-watt:

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Hello

Thank you for contacting Giga-Watt!!

Thank you for your message and welcome to Giga Watt. For customers seeking hosting with us now, we're looking at possible end of December into January availability. If you are still interested then, please get back in contact with us then to inquiry about open power capacity availability.

Thanks again.

Giga Watt

Well that sucks, they told me initially they will reserve space for me at the end of October/ November, now they are saying January.  Do these people actually reserve space for people or is it first come first served?

more tokens issued = more tokens are on the market = less price.

You CAN do this, but you have to send manual request to them, and ask for the address change.   This is written in FAQ on their site.

I called up about 20-30 hosting companies across America and Canada last night getting quotes on hosting.
Almost every single one of the said that giga-watt is the biggest ponzi scheme there is.
They said they will go bankrupt within 6 months.

I have no say in the matter, but it was very weird when they suddenly stopped retuning my emails when I told them that I ordered from BITMAIN directly and put them as the mailing address.
I am changing that mailing address ASAP STAT

Just an update on my part renting out 505 WTT (144 waiting in the next batch). Nice to see the WTT price go up, I will still try to buy some when it hit the exchanges.

How many days your renting out your token?

Hoping they release soon the third batch token, I can't wait to rent it out and see if this is profitable rather than to trade it and do buy and sell to make some profit since the value of Giga Watt token is rising up maybe it because the supply is low.

They recently sell $22,112,321 tokens, How they could bankrupt! They wipe borrowing risk with token sale. They belong to the most emerging technical servicing sector.

Still waiting on miners and on tokens.... pfff sent another email. They said the 15th of august that the miners arrived on the facility but that token holders will go first and that i have to wait till there is a rig free...

So tried to tell them that i have bought tokens in june, not issued yet, but i bought them.

ANd now there is a delay with issueing the tokens of 1 sept, i heard i can take anonther 4-6 weeks...

Got some bullshit answer from them several times....

is it so difficult to communicate properly?

getting a little bit done with this shit.

really doubt about this.  giga-watt has strong and clear business strategy.

GW has delays caused by production difficulties, which they explained.  I would be very surprised if such complicated task that they invented and process now, would go without any obstacles.

I think they are just jealous about thier brilliant idea  Cheesy
