When the miner arrives and is working, can we choose which pool it will mine? There are many coins that use scrypt (L3 +), if I want to mine another coin and not litecoin, does anyone who is already mining know how it works?
I doubt, especially when they are completely busy with PODs deployment

Why are giga-watt.com and cryptonomos both down?  Undecided Undecided
That might be because of the sites maintainance, i personally did not noitce this. Now they both work fine.

I thought giga-watt was the best home for my mining. Has anyone seen this? Participating or jumping ship maybe? Haven't read the whitepaper but I bet it's exact replica on giga-watt if not pretty close to it.

These scammers even started a topic here on bitcointalk, but after local people discovered thier lies, they deleted all thier posts from that topic, and left only replies to thier lies  Grin Grin Grin

I'm in batch 4 of the WTT, I have miners arriving from Bitmain supposedly in October. (We all know they can be late)

I have asked if they will ship my miners elsewhere and this is the response.

Hi Ben,

Yes after your miners have arrived and we are still in the deployment period, we will ship your miners to you or another facility at our expense.

Thank you,
Giga Watt, Inc

This is good news for anyone in the same situation as me as I thought I'd be stuck waiting.

And what is your choice? Ship to an address or to an sort of factory? If this is true, why some people wait for weeks for their miner to get deployed. These delays literally delay our ROI quite a few months in this uncertain landscape...

I know the feeling of excitement. Distribution of token is near.

Brace yourselves brother and sister, Giga-watt will go to the MOON since the supply is limited and distribution is only scheduled and i think some of people will probably buy a lot of token and take advantage the mining features to gain more profit.

My prediction thst WTT will hit more than $25++

Would you know how much it would be for shipping them out U.S. domestically?

No idea sorry.
I have miners hosted elsewhere in the US, so I'd just have them sent there.

Your preidiction is not correct, as tokens are not in big demand due to the project's big delays and uncertainties.

I am hesitating whether do send my miners back from GW, or wait, as timeterms are really foggy, with all obstacles that US authorities make.

I did not think that bureaucrats have so big power in USA to put a spoke in wheel of a private business  Shocked

This project aims to improve the infrastructure, I like it, but PoW mining shall become absolete pretty soon, so it's definetely not a long-term investment - better look for real technology and not a makedevelopersrichquick projects )... Classic Goldrush made equipment manufacturers rich, not the late miners - don't forget that...

LOL only less than 3% of the pop knows about cryptos. & Proof of work will become obsolete pretty soon ? Can you develop on that ?
You must be a proof of stack supporter. Sorry I am not of those, and I don't think I'm the only one.
So I do think PoW will carry on.

I did not post this message, The Russians did it !

In terms of the real world, normal human, located in the USA, giga-watt is doing just fine.

In terms of internet timelines we all, you and me, too, move too slow because expectations are so unreal.

giga-watt is doing just fine.

Agree too. By startup big pre investors where also hammering on direct mining after there investment (see pers confrence from the CEO of GW on you tube). I think GW kept there timelines on theoretical basis with no time buffers for backfire in realisation fases. I think they work over hours and no mutch poeple could do it better at the moment then the GW dedicated team. Lets hope that regulators are also in a good mood.
