A really interesting topic title.I think they can reach the wallets there too.But they may not be a benefit to their wallet there.

for example an astronaut needs a coffee in space but can`t carry fiat money especially coins as they may fly and enter into the engine of the aircraft, so this astronaut opens his phone and orders a coffee and makes the payment with btc and it would be ok. But wait a minute how would this coffee come to the space, can it come with blockchain. ? Now there is another question .

Just curious, since the Internet is mostly an Earthly thing... would astronauts be able to access and transfer their Bitcoins whilst traveling throughout the solar system?
The real question is why would they even need money the first place? In theory if they are able to connect to the Internet network they should be able to transfer bitcoin if they want but what will be the point of it? Maybe in the future when we create colonies in some other planets that could become a problem but the most likely solution is that each planet is going to have its own crypto currency to make things simpler.

Bitcoin can be used everywhere with the existence of internet connexion. I think that in space, Astronauts have the internet because of the connexion between the space and the earth, so then it will be possible to use bitcoin there and make their own transactions without any problem, Bitcoin transactions between space-earth or the inverse.

I think it could be if in the outer reach of the world there is internet because if we want to access bitcoin there must be bitcoin in that place. Bitcoin is free to use anywhere there is internet there.

I do not think so, because in astronauts it is hard to reach by humans, so it's all difficult, need something that can be used to in astronauts for easy btc transactions.

Bitcoin works on a digital technology platform, it depends entirely on internet data. So, no matter where they are in the space, just as they can connect to the internet, they can use bitcoin easily. In fact, traveling the entire solar system at the present moment is impossible, our technology can not meet.

Yes, and as long they have internet connections and communications signals to earth then it is very possible. BTW, Internet is also present in space, I remember astronauts sent tweets from space before.
Though if Bitcoin would be a huge trend and seen as a convenient way to store and secure their wealth then might as well they hop in. Since Bitcoin's complexity which requires the time, a little bit of time maybe to study how it works

As long as the astronauts have an access and connected to the internet, they can transfer anything even Bitcoins while traveling throughout the solar system. Well, in fact, they should have the fastest internet that they can get from the satellite system beside them.

Well since there would be internet there, yes they should be able to use it there. But the question would be that who would you be transacting with there? except of course you want to send to your family out here

I think they cannot because not all the people can access the astronauts in the solar sytem because there is a specific line that they use to access the people in the earth, there is some people that can access and that is the people in the NASA, they cannot use bitcoin in the space because there is no  internet connection in outer space.

Astronauts do have access to the internet in space because of the time it takes the signals to travel. As long they have internet connections and communications signals to earth then it is very possible.

Although, the internet is slow, they do have internet in space. So the answer is yes!

Bitcoin can be used in space, and blockchain technology is a new kind of thing based on network. I think it will be faster and easier to transfer through block chain technology in the future.

If you can relay the information, you can use the bitcoin. But at the moment this is more of hypothetical question. It will be interesting to see how this plays out once there are independent colonies on another planets. Syncing the blockchain on long distance might bring some new issues.

The simple answer would be as long as there is an internet connection they can use bitcoin. If the internet can be made available in space, then surely there will be no hindrance from using it there.

Correct, but I guess it's very impossible to use bitcoin in space because aside from no internet access, what would you use it for? and will they accept bitcoin too? I don't think so. So for me it's a no.
