Why is taking so long the confirmations?

Hi, i'm having some problems with transaccions to my wallet, they're taking more than 1 week

Both transactions are using a lower fee than they should have and on top of that, both are using funds from an unconfirmed transactions (those should've been confirmed first).

The default fee that the blockchain recommends is usually too low to make the transaction instant. I am sitting with the same problem. I have 3 transactions that have been pending for the last few days now. Its annoying but the fees are getting so high now that its not worth raising the fee if you are only transferring a small amount. This is one of the big weaknesses of Bitcoin right now.

Which wallet or website did you use to send the transactions?

A lot are having problems with their transactions and probably its because of the blockchain traffic lately. Some takes around 10 hours for it to go through, if it still doesn't reflect on your wallet try sending a ticket. 1 week is already too long if the amount is not that much.

Network is busy, but even if there is attack, there are around 200 000 unconfirmed transactions pending.
So it take long because there is so many transactions currently , keep calm and make bitcoin great.

Hello! I've had such transactions in the past which take many days and have been worried just like you. If you're scared you won't receive your coins don't be, the transactions will either pull through eventually or return to the sender and you can request them again. I avoid using BTC when possible for reasons like this.
