at any time, there will be many who are just investing in bitcoin and because of it they will be holding and never spend anything and will dump at some point.
they are all among us.

but it is not going to be a downfall of bitcoin, it actually has a balance now. there are many who spend and understand that bitcoin is a lot more than just what fees you pay. and there are many who think bitcoin is only cheap fee and nothing more and just a way to make profit on their fiat.

Everything that brings attention to Crypto in the long run helps. Just think people thought it was dead and now find out its $1800. Now they are motivated by the fear of loss and they jump on the band wagon. So the more bitcoin is dead articles the better.

I disagree a little bit with this, they say any publicity is good publicity but we want people to talk about bitcoin for the right reasons, that is exactly what the media does, they talk about bitcoin and all of those bad things that happen and people decide not to invest in bitcoin because they believe what they hear.
