I dont believe so.
For me gold will be more secured than any other investment.
Be it a fiat or cryptocurrency.
Gold can always be stored anywhere you feel safe to hide it.
And gold is not volatile as bitcoin too. Or as easily made as fiat.
Therefore if you would want a long term investment gold will remain as one of the best choice.

In my opinion both have their own security purpose when you are investing with gold you would need a Vault and a secure place to put it that you are the only one who would know where it is, or put it in the bank that have a more secure features than your own vault, the only downside would be for criminal thief that would get to your vault of a Bank Robber that knows how to penetrate in a bank, and I think Gold in it's physical form are kind of heavy and would be hard for a transaction to be made with it, But if you would invest in bitcoin or Cryptocurrency Secure feature for it are private keys or a cold storage, USB hardware wallet type that prevents hackers from penetrating it, I it I would prefer bitcoin investment more for the convenient and secure feature than finding a large place to secure your Gold.

Both are secure and safe investments nowadays. Investing in Bitcoin can't be more secure than investing in gold because gold is much older and trusted than bitcoin worldwide, but Bitcoin is also having very high price and really promising potential.
Bitcoin is most reliable source now than gold. Price of bitcoin can double in short term but gold price is so stable and you need to wait for a long term before your investment increase. |

Investing in gold is of course more secure than investing in Bitcoin. At least if you store it in your own home, somewhere safe (hidden room or something).
I think gold is more dangerous than bitcoin. You don't need a lot of safes a lot of passwords or a lot of locks to buy and use, you just need to sign and hide your private key anywhere. Also, people will know that you own tons of gold while in bitcoin, no one will know if you are holding a huge amount of bitcoin. |

Yes its true both of them are different then each other if you invest in gold so it cannot give you any profit you will have only valuable metal but if you invest in bitcoin so there is no doubt that you can earn a lot of money because bitcoin is a currency and its price is going high also you can use it for your daily trade so money make money. |

They are two different things, bitcoin is a virtual cryptocurrency with an actual unstable price, and gold a fisical thing with more stable price.
If you like the risk and want make more money, so is better to invest in bitcoin

I don't think so. Bitcoin is not under any organization of any form of government. it is an open source system while Gold is supported by different countries and it is legal to those countries. Maybe in the future it will be more secured when it is already legal to most of the countries and when it is already considered as an official currency to most places. |

Gold is more secure at the moment.
It's depends for people who have gold and still its not safe the gold even you can keep at your home or room. So I think its better to invest bitcoin you know where can you use or I think its secure. |

I think both has its advantage and strengths so I guess its really up to your which one do you prefer. If you prefer gold bullions I think there are banks are that willing to kept it for you, same as paper gold. If you go bitcoin, then a good wallet, like hardware for holding it long term will be good. So I guess it really depends which one do you prefer. |

If your asking about security then gold is better choice . If your asking about profit then bitcoin would be the best investmnet hope you understand. Gold is less risk and less profit .Bitcoin is more risk and more profit.

If the point about security - bitcoin is not more secure than gold. If you invest a lot of money in gold where to put it to be secure ?
As all normal people do - in a bank, cause of only they have necessary terms and places for gold storage. In Fort Knox may be is secure. Or may be not ?
It would be, but I doubt you have enough contacts to place your gold there. |

Agree with that, gold is more secured not just by now but it could be for a long time. By today's life, we are so very practical in terms of investment and gaining profit, and we just ignored about securities of our own money until such a time that we're been hack already. Although bitcoin isn't fully secured compared to gold but still more people will go through bitcoin just for the seek of high profit. And totally it can't be deniable that gold is almost forgotten by now. |
