The dice rule is on the top coins, It does not apply to all coins but some of these may be difficult to sell at later date.

i just saw the Yobit email to me reminding me about their investbox and the new (stupid) rules of it.
apparently now you have to roll the dice on the coin you invest, 5 times each day in order to get the profit of that day. as if things weren't desperate and shady already.

and we all know that their dice game is not provably fair at all so you might as well give them your money!

man you don't have to wager a lot , 5 bets with 1 satoshi each will do the thing and you will receive your share from the investbox
there are two reasons for adding this rule IMO , 1st is that some players may like the dice and they may play more often and even if the dice is provably fair that means yobit will generate more profit
2nd reason is simply that you may forget to wager the 5 bets ( happened with me once so far ) so yobit will hold your funds without paying you interest , and this may happen a lot with different users ( basically saving some money )

I'm not saying that the whole investbox is not shady , but the rules isn't that bad actaully

i'm with Yobit since february, I think it's quite good, for what I need to do, this invest box, it's brillant, DEV put some coin in a reserve wallet, to promote the altcoin, and choose the taxrate, until reserve is with money, you can invest, when money are ended, you can't, simlpy. So if I am a dev, for exaple of Centurion, I can put a lot of them in the reserve account, and give the chances to invest on them on a daly-weekly-monthly basis, with good taxrate, for example, I the DEV, say minimum 10000 CNT to 100000 CNT, i give 1% weekly. I am "forcing" or better giving the possibility to my altcoin to be bought (10000 min), so I create volume, and maybe price get higher... You can claim your money at will, if a round it's not completed, you don't gain any interest. So Yobit it's not responsible for the lack of money on the reserve account and for me it's 100% safe.

Another thing is if you don't trust Yobit, in that case do not invest.

I'm actually buying unknown alt coin to get some good rate for my 100-200 usd and it's working...

...my 2 cent

kaltum and substrata this is how it's working and the following answer is explaining the gain. Smiley thanks to SyGambler

This rule about Investbox is trully nothing at all. You can bet just 5 times without any minimum restrictions.
If you are focus to your investments, you will not miss it. It's like a 5' minutes daily quest.
Until today i haven't miss a day and i hope i will not loose any at all! Grin

yeah it's not that big deal at all , but it does serve some purposes for yobit
and believe me people sometimes forget to open yobit and wager the dice , I have like 600$ invested and forgot once to wager cause sometimes life makes you forget online stuffs you know

I'm surprised that some people are attacking the investbox because of these rules , while these rules make sense the investbox still shady and I haven'y figured out where the money is coming from for the top currencies like BTC , LTC , DOGE and ETH

After I checked this thread and read about the requirement of Yobit in playing dice 5 times on with the currency that is invested on the Investbox, I go to Yobit site to check on the requirement and how easy or hard it is.  And I found out that what the previous reply say is true.  It is not hard to get the earning from the investment.  You can play 1 sat 5x if you are investing in BTC to be able to get the 0.2% interest.  Even though yobit Dice is suspected not provably fair, I believe their requirement won't affect your earning at all.

It's not about you being able to bet just 1 single satoshi to walk through this requirement, but more the fact that you are being forced to gamble if you want to make use of the invest box ~ that's a pretty nasty practice to be honest.

What's next, forcing people to roll the dice 10 times with at least 0.001BTC at stake per roll? It's a silly move to trap people into playing dice and eventually lose their balance to Yobit ~ that's not how an exchange should operate, period.

in the meantime, thay change from <49 and >51 to <48 and >52 a range of 4 instead of 2 go to the "house"...

however it's good for me. Had 0.085 btc on june the 20th, now I have 0.102658 btc with only investbox...

I don't know either, where BTC ETH DOGE funds are found... and that kinda concern me... so I take a look around and find somethng similar...

there is a website, freebitco.in that have something like that and they give you some explanation... in the EARN BTC section. Here is the interesting part:

How do you make money to pay us interest?

When you hold money in your FreeBitco.in account, we split it into 3 parts - the first part is used to cover user withdrawals, the second part is used to bankroll our MULTIPLY BTC game and the third part is used to expand our bitcoin mining operation (which is currently 9.065 Petahashes or 0.137% of the total hashpower of the bitcoin network). We make a profit and assume the full risks of our businesses and in return for you saving your money with us, we give you a risk-free fixed rate of return.

Below, we have signed a message using our bitcoin address that is used to collect payments from our bitcoin mining operation. This message can be verified on any bitcoin client or here to provide proof that we actually mine bitcoin.

However the interest is about 0.0109% daily

Yobit business practice:

Jail your coin -->  Coin price dropped to 1 satoshi --> Yobit bought all the coins at 1 satoshi  -->  Open up the wallet -->  price went up to market price -->  Yobit sold all your coins at market price and make a ton load of money -->  Jail your coin again   ... rinse and start over again
the SEC should investigate Yobit for price manipulation and jail all the owners for doing this.

It's not, trust me. Yobit is beyond shady and without a doubt one of the most notorious exchanges that are out there. virtually 0 support for you when something does go wrong with the site's normal functions. Trust me you don't want to use them.

The investbox sometimes closes the investment option for the big coins like BTC/LTC/WAVES, you just have to wait till it opens back up again.

while I still believe that the investbox is shady , but so far my experience is good
I have 1.4M Doges invested and all working good , I even tried a withdrawal with that amount and got it instantly
yobit acts shady only with shitty coins so far , not sure why but the problems that I hear about don't include transactions with BTC , ETH , DASH , LTC or DOGE

the investment plans for the trusted coins come and go , but they are available and you can make some money by using them
I had terrible experience with poloniex , so my history isn't good with exchanges that's why I only put money that I afford to lose
I had to wait over 2 months to get my coins from poloniex that they used to worth around 5K ( now they worth more ) and that made me learn to never trust any exchange even the " trusted " ones

the plans are too good to be true , but honestly the only way I see yobit scamming the investbox is if they decide to close the site with an exit scam

I'm just sharing my experience with you guys , it may be terrible decision but I'm ready to take the gamble and even if I lost the funds  I'm ok with it

I have check yobit and yes there's no more bitcoin in the choice of their investbox and I don't know the reason of it since they are not very active to their thread anymore. And even their chat support isn't too active so many are annoyed about their service, I don't recommend anyone to invest there.

I just noticed the rule on their investbox

To get InvestBox Payments for BTC, ETH, DOGE, LTC, DASH, WAVES - you need to Play minimum 5 Dice Games / day at these coins.

What a greedy move.

I never used yobit as I've read a lot of bad comments about them. And their investbox is something like a ponzi, we know they have a service but offering something like this and will require people to gamble first for a minimum of 5 times is a crazy as lit. They are promoting both of their service as investbox and as well as their dice game. Take note of that (/day) for all of those coins.

YoBit is shit.
Correct, but regardless of how shit they are, people, ahum, noobs keep using that exchange to nurse their hunger when it comes to finding shitcoins that no other exchange but Yobit is willing to list. At the end of the day, that's the main reason this exchange manages to attract more and more people, and thus has grown considerably in the last years.

And admins of this service is pigs
Not really. The people signing up to this exchange, while there are so many complaints and annoyances, are the pigs here. Yobit's operator has exceptionally well taken advantage of the demand for an exchange listing hundreds of shitcoins every year, and it very likely made him a good couple of millions. It's all about supply and demand, and without demand, this exchange couldn't even keep running for a few months. Wink

Has anyone been investing in the investbox of yobit? i already noticed that this is a shitty page, and that their exchange sucks, but i am looking at their daily interest charts and they seem too good to be possible, is this real or this is just one more scam? has anyone invested in this and got some return from it?
I am a little bit interested to invest in some coins in there, but it seems a little bit risky for me.

What a greedy move.

They are now available , two for bitcoins actually instead of one and the rates are different , the highest at the moment for btc is 0.15% a day

also the move isn't that bad actually as long as they are paying , wagering the dice 5 times a day is easy as long as they don't set minimum bet rule
cause at the moment all you need is wager 1 satoshi 5 times and you will be able to receive the profits

so the rule isn't that bad , what's bad is that they aren't saying how the system works
