If the current situation persists for too long, then I believe yes... Bitcoin will be damaged, and the small Bitcoin holders will get out of the boat first, not before paying a premium for their transaction fee to fiat, of course.

Bitcoin won't die, before this happen an improvement will be chosen to be implemented. The question is if it will have a hard fork or not. I personalyl don't like the idea, I think it's very bad for the Bitcoin unity that was built along the years, but the transaction fees can't continue increasing like now and the delay can't continue. All we can do is to wait and see what happens...

More traffic in blockchain because of the value of bitcoin, they want to make users pick the higher fee for the faster transaction to gather some income on the fees.
but i do not think that bitcoin will die because more adoption will make life of bitcoin much stronger.

Just one problem and you want to kill bitcoin already.
This question keep popping out everytime someone got a problem with the transaction time. I hope this ends.
Bad threads like this can make an impact if someone believes it.
If you are sending a big amount then next time better pay a higher fee if you are in a hurry to receive it.

We will not see any improvement until these mining giants has made up their mind. They are enjoying these high fees, because they are making a ton of extra money from this current stalemate situation. The developers are following the consensus rules, so we cannot blame them.

Will Bitcoin Die? Most definitely not, but some people might move over to some GovCoins like ETH and Ripple and that is what some people wanted from the start.

I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.
Yes this is a recurring problem, the bigger the transaction so that it becomes slow, I worry if the user continues to increase and the bigger the bitcoin transactions but could fail.

this surely sucks, and nobody apart from miners are happy about it. but there is no reason for your title! bitcoin won't die just because for the time being there is a big backlog which is causing the fees to rise up a lot.

I thought you were trying to explained the reason why bitcoin will be die? Since there are tons of bitcoin die related sites. Well you are not the only person in this world who complained about this issue you've just passed one day there are some transaction which got stucked untill one week. I personally think that bitcoin transaction is very slow that's why i would not spend my bitcoins. It's clearly that it is not suited for small transaction, If bitcoin only as a payment system no doubt it will be die soon, but it is a great investment that's why it still exists.

Blockchain slowness is a problem but that does not mean BTC will die. It will soon be solved by the developers. Even if blockchain sucks, see the price of bicoins.  People willing to buy bitcoins at any cost due to its potential benefits.

What you are saying is correct minners are the main reason for this problem as they are taking only high paying transaction as they are getting more profit

Won't die but this is definitely an inconvenience. Had 2 transactions yesterday which confirmed after 9-10 hours. Even had a fee of 0.002 BTC for a transaction of around 0.4 btc, and still took too much time. I don't send a lot of money but cases like these happen in a short sample size for me. Not sure if this happen with other people too.

i didn't say miners are the problem i said miners are happy about the situation because they are getting paid more, a lot more.

although indirectly they are responsible for the current situation since they are the ones who are rejecting the solutions for scaling and preventing us from any kind of advancement.

We are all waiting, and unfortunately I have to adapt to this. I made a transaction three days ago, but it has not been confirmed yet. But bitcoin will not die.

The issues of unconfirmed transactions and fees have been disscused so many times on so many threads here. If your transactions are unconfirmed try to speed it up through viabtc.com and for the future choose wallet where you can control the fees.
But this is not the reason the Bitcoin will die, this issue can be solved.
