It is impossible for the internet to disappear from the middle of the day. If the internet disappears, we can not do our daily work, banks, post offices, airports come to a standstill, nowadays everything is connected to the internet.

Yes, Internet connectivity won't interupt in the middle of the day causing a big downfall to the digital currency as well the entire connectivity that's required for successful functioning of the entire sectors. Rather than gold profiting through bitcoin is bigger which makes it to be the best.

Two things are different. Both of its price depends on the market's demand but gold is a material and Bitcoin is not. It is true that Bitcoin has a higher rate of increase, in terms of its value, compared to Gold. But I think the price of Bitcoin is decreasing more often than Gold. That, I think, is the difference. Although Bitcoin still has a bigger increase after the dips. Bitcoin's advantage to Gold is that, you can convert it anytime you want, and you can't always find people ,anywhere, who'll buy gold.

Yes, I also think like you, now both gold and Bitcoin are reasonable investment choices and can be profitable. Gold is a form of traditional investment, still popular and still many people choose. Bitcoin is a new type of investment that can carry the risk of loss but it is also profitable because of its high value.. Many experts predict that Bitcoin will increase further in the future. Many people are now choosing to invest in Bitcoin If it is possible to invest in both types, it will be more profitable

gold is conventional investment that it is very valuable since ancient Egypt period thousands years ago  and i am sure if wanna invest long term and don't wanna get risk to loss value, gold is very good choice.

but bitcoin is faster choice to get rich because if you know how to put investment in proper place you will get rich faster. Moreover the price of bitcoin is very high and still has potential to growing up again from time to time. so we can choose to invest on one of that or both, why not?

Lauda, you have most certainly summed it up very nicely! I have always been highly against trading fiat because of its bloated, inflation-like nature. The bubble that has been expanding since 2008 will soon burst again - guaranteed. Gold is very stable, but offers almost no room for profits because of its stability. I know many people that have bought bitcoin only to then buy gold with it.....

This isnt always the case. No-one can tell what is a better investment option, only you can. If you are looking for something very long term with no clear sign of selling any time soon, then Gold is your best option. However, if you want to make quick profit and then use that as a currency, bitcoin is your best bet. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

I don't think that one day, the Internet will disappear as you said. It is closer to impossible. I think the only way to the internet to be disappear is the end of the world.
 
Anyways, I consider bitcoin is more valuable than gold. As we all see that bitcoin price increase highly over the years, And for now, bitcoin have a awesome price which it's around 3750$, Now it's too powerfull, And i think soon it will achieve the 4000$ easily.

In which angle you are comparing thats the main thing. Both two is different in various ways. Bitcoin is more secured if we talk about transaction or storing. Gold has an almost stable value where bitcoin has ups and down.So they both are different. If it comes about investment then bitcoin is better than gold.

Gold has given around 12% ROI since the start of 2017, while Bitcoin has given close to 300% returns. I used to favor gold over Bitcoin until now. But I can no longer afford to do that. Bitcoin may be risky, but anyone refusing to invest in it is a fool.
